“Lovely family room, great location,”

Our room was a family room which was on 2 levels, the room was spacious and had 2 bath rooms, a small fridge and coffee maker. Good options for breakfast Offered 10% off in restaurant meals on check in which I thought was a nice gesture. Accommodated a further nights stay in the same room as our plans changed. Lots of wildlife around the hotel, we say Howler monkeys and sloths while walking to breakfast..

“Great stay at the Carribean coast of Costa Rica”

Great location and atmosphere. Set-up of the resort resembles a small town which gives it a cozy set-up. Lots of wildlife (monkeys, agutis, toucans etc.) at the resort itself. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very nice pool area. Excellent restaurant facilities, great and copious breakfast buffet (special compliments for the freshly made omelets which our kids loved). Direct access to the beach and small strip with restaurants and bars. Close to other key locations in the area, such as Puerto Viejo.

“Relaxing stay in the heart of the beach jungle”

Amazing resort in the jungle. Wildlife seen everyday from our door step. Dinner at the restaurant was absolutely first class, with discounts at the beach restaurants also unforgettable meals. Yoga was relaxing and needed. Pools clean and private. Staff friendly and happy to give all recommendations for the town.

It was so good we ended up extending our stay for two more days. Also breakfast is amazing!!!

The location, easy to get to Cocles Beach.

“Great activities and pool area”

The location is great if you want to be close to playa cocles, the pool area is very nice and there are lots of sunbeds and umbrellas. There are tons of activities this hotel offers, including lots of games and a billiard and fussball table. The food in the main restaurant was very good (we had two of their Bowls for dinner) and the staff is extremely friendly and outgoing. They also have a spa, bike rentals, a pool bar, yoga, and offer to book all the tours you could want for you. We also saw black and green poison dart frogs here, right on the main path to out bungalow!

Cariblue Beach & Jungle Resort was a unique experience with a real wow factor. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were well-kept and clean, the food was excellent, and the pool water was at just the right temperature. The proximity to the beach was simply perfect. The real highlight, however, was the animals and plants that were part of the resort. An experience worth repeating—I highly recommend it.

Beautifully located hotel in the middle of the jungle but also opposite the beach. We saw so many animals and birds in the hotel (sloths, different types of frogs, toucans, green macaws, lizards,...) We also loved the main pool area. Perfect for spending a couple of relaxing days after touring around the country. The type of room we stayed in was huge and clean. The lady at the breakfast was always very friendly and nice!

“Great value for money, nice location, friendly staff, Windel kitchen”

So this is our first time in Costa Rica and we visited hotel Cariblue which is which is located in an absolutely amazing place right in front of the beach. The hotel is very clean and is well maintained, junges are feeling like a garden. It has a lot of different additional activities like dancing (thanks to the wonderful girl who is doing bachata and salsa lessons 🫶🏻) and yoga. Separate thanks and respect to Yousser, the cooking chef, who made amazing breakfasts, beef stew, scrambled eggs and omlets! The restaurant itself offers great selection of dishes with amazing and tasty fusion dishes and local cuisine. Big applause for a drinking water stations and great gratis coffee in the rooms! In general all the staff was very friendly, helpful and spoke English without problems.

“Caribbean bliss”

We really loved this hotel, lovely vibes by the pool. The location was excellent right by the beach and the sushi bar is amazing. We were glad we chose to stay here.

“Good 3 star hotel with excellent hotel and pool”

Definitely a 3star hotel.. V friendly staff; I mistakenly booked a 'family room' which was actually a sort of two-bedroom suite.. Excellent but did not need the space. Quite expensive for me,

“Jungle oasis with plenty of amenities”

Beautiful oasis, with some jungle aspects. We had a sloth around the pool yesterday. Howler monkeys to wake us up. Birds above. Leaf cutting ants in the night. Bed was comfy and clean. Facilities in the main area were great. Lovely location, on sea front, local restaurants, slightly quieter end of town. We hired bikes which made getting about easy.

We stayed here 4 nights, central to beach and a few bars and restaurants £3 (2000 colones) for tuk tuk to Puerto Viejo - Rented bicycles for a morning Used the pool in the afternoons Walked Cahuita national park one day (by car) Lots of birds, hear monkeys and see on trees, insects, in grounds. Yoga was fantastic on the Tuesday morning (only 3 times a week) Comfortable bed Nice breakfast Pool bar

“Mixed jungle experience”

The hotel’s location in the middle of the jungle is truly special. Seeing wildlife up close was an unforgettable experience and definitely the highlight of our stay. The staff were also extremely friendly, helpful, and always made an effort to ensure a pleasant visit.

Food was very good, room was basic but comfortable. The shower was old and could use a refresh.

“Sweet and sour.”

The first impression was very positive. The receptionist was professional and friendly, and we felt very welcome. However, the rooms lacked privacy, which was a significant issue. In addition, the way one of the reception staff members handled the situation when we raised our concern was disappointing. Prior to our arrival, we had contacted customer service to confirm how the rooms were separated and to ensure privacy, and we were assured that this would not be an issue. When we later requested the possibility of changing rooms, an alternative was offered; however, it came at a higher cost than the room we had originally booked.
