The double room is equipped with a small terrace that includes a hammock as well as A/C, and the furniture/decoration is quite modern

Great location and facilities. Fantastic owners who went above and beyond to help when our transport got cancelled at the last minute. Pretty communal areas and well equipped kitchen. Good value for money for the area.

Very nice and good equipped bungalow, nicely decorated, clean, with two huge beds, kitchen with all necessary tools. Bungalow has a terrace, situated between the trees and flowers with a table and chairs, were was so pleasant to sit, watching the variety of birds, listening to the monkeys' "songs". Friendly and helpful staff. 5-7 minutes walking to the sea, 3 min to the nearest bar. We really enjoyed!!

Fabulous stay. Great location - far enough from noise, close to the beach and sodas/restaurants. Our room was in pristine condition! Spotless, dry, well air conditioned. Perfect! Great staff, fantastic owners!

Super clean, comfortable accommodation, we booked the room with air conditioner which was needed. Walking distance from the town. We initially booked three nights but were able to extend our stay by one more night thanks to the hosts’ flexibility and great communication. They also provided helpful local recommendations. The first night’s payment is required in advance. The shared kitchen with filtered water and fridge is available from 7:30 AM until the evening.

“Calm and quiet oasis in busy Puerto Viejo”

Fabulous room for 4 people (2 beds), just how it looked in the photos. Very lovely owner/manager who was extremely helpful and friendly and recommended places for us to go and eat. Filtered water available. Great location right in the middle of town and a minute’s walk from the beach and the best bakery/breakfast option, De Gustibus. Great a/c and wifi. Lovely and clean. Great place to spend a few days in Puerto Viejo and surrounding area.

We had the bungalow for my 2 friends and I and it was very confortable, it was clean and spacious. The location is great, only a few minute walk to the beach and center.

Nice atmosphere; we loved the way the place looks and the open space with tables and seats for Shared use; like the kitchen. However, this was closed at breakfast time and as of early evening so that it was not much use and we couldn’t get to our stuff in the fridge. The roof of our room leaked, so our 2nd night we spent with rain inside the room… The location is perfect, so is parking. Very nice people too. Close to almost perfect 😁

We enjoyed our time at Cabinas Montesol. It is perfectly located close to the beach and close to many restaurants and bars. The room was quite spacious and the staff were friendly. They even let us check in a bit earlier, which was really lovely. This is a really affordable, good option for Puerto Viejo.

Cozy room with a little outside sitting area. The shared kitchen was really helpful to prepare some snacks. Location is great in the center of town but a little secluded. Really helpful staff with a lot of recommendations for the area.

The staff is amazing. The room is simple but its enough. The place is beautiful and the location is excellent. Near the beach and the restaurants. They were so lovely with us! Help us with the car and the baggage while we were in other country. Its an amazing place!

Lovely lady on reception when we arrived,very helpful with places to visit and restaurants to eat in. Perfectly located and a short walk from the very centre. Highly recommend.

Everything was incredibly clean, including the room and the shared bathroom (shared bathroom literally the cleanest bathroom I’ve seen in a long time!!) Beds were comfortable, it was quiet, the staff were lovely and helpful. Couldn’t ask for much more!

“Great location in Puerto Viejo, amazing bakery and washing salon almost next door”

The shared bathroom was really nice, the room was good as well and even had an outside space where we could dry clothes, for example.

Friendly and helpful staff. Family run business so great to see kids and dogs running around. The room was comfortable and staff were kind enough to allow us to store breakfast food in the staff fridge. Great location close to town but set away from the noise.
