I like Fredrik and his family, they really made me feel at Home, great ice cold pool, nice rooms with kitchen and Air con, so happy to have stayed there, next time I go to Puerto Viejo,I would always stay here,yes you have to stretch your budget a bit, but it's near the end of playa Negra, and is easily the Best place that I stayed in Puerto Viejo, I can't wait to be their guest again

“Cheap bedding, foul smell”
It is close to hotel banana Azul like a 3 min walk. You can go there for their beach and have meals/drinks.

Self contained air conditioned flat with small kitchen. Quiet area away from the main town by about 1.5km. Half hour too walk along the beach. Very helpful and easy going. Great for mid range budget. I Would stay here again 100%

“A wonderful experience with Caribbean natur”
I really liked the cabin accommodation and the place as a whole. The nearby beach is very pleasant and distinguished by its black sand.

“Good value, studio style rooms with own kitchen and bathroom”
Lovely place which is a bit further from town but was quiet and peaceful. You can rent bikes from a hotel nearby and the beach is so close and it's black sand, much cleaner and quieter than town. WiFi worked well. Private kitchen and ensuite so you have complete privacy.

The Host was excellent. The key for my room was available when I arrived. He took the time to talk with me and tell me about the neighborhood, make great restaurant suggestions and show me around his property. The room was very clean, spacious, great freezer, comfy bed, very hot shower and quiet neighborhood close to the ocean. I did not want to use the pool. He arranged for me to get my clothes washed and returned quickly. I was also introduced to other guests. Excellent service. Loved all the birds that I saw close by in the trees too. I highly recommend this rental. I liked the reading lamp. I would stay here again…
