“Great place to relax and connect to Mother Earth.”

This place is amazing. Its a bungalow right in the middle of the jungle, close to the sea (6 min walk). You can hear all sounds of the jungle, unique experience. I wish them all the best to grow and build more since they offer just a couple of bungalows, they are really pretty and minimalistic. All was really great. Breakfast was served at your porch everyday. Highly recommended.

The accommodation at Aire Boutique Hotel is designed so that you feel as if you’re sleeping right in nature. The hostess is very pleasant, and the accommodation blends beautifully with nature, featuring lovely architecture. Two bungalows side by side, excellent breakfasts served right on time as arranged. The pool is directly in the apartment, making it perfect for a refreshing dip on hot days. The hotel is peaceful and removed from the city’s hustle and bustle, ensuring privacy and tranquility. Additionally, it’s just a few minutes away from Big Beach, where you can make bonfires. The hostess also lent us a grill, allowing us to prepare a perfect dinner right on the beach, just minutes away from the accommodation. Filip & Nikol

“Lovely staff”

The staff were amazing. The design and layout of the entire hotel, plus the rooms, were very well thought of and detailed. Breakfast was healthy, locally sourced, and handmade with love. The location was a walking distance from the beach and a short drive into Puerto Viejo itself, so nights out didn't feel far.

This was our favorite accomodation on Our Costa Rica trip. Its a relaxing oasis where youre Just surrounded by jungle. The bungalow was beautiful and super clean, we Just loved hanging around in the hammock and enjoying the sounds from junge (howler monkeys can be quite loud at night but we found it super authentic and didnt mind at all). There are no walls but as Long as you dont keep the nets open you dont have to worry About bigger jungle visitors. Just beautiful. Also the breakfast was delicious and you can make coffee anytime. Thank you! 🤍

“Disappointed”

This venue calls itself a boutique hotel but is really just 2 precarious structures within a compound lacking a lot of amenities. We were courteously greeted and then left to our own devices and really did not feel safe as the walls were only a fragile metal mesh. The basic facilities did not warrant the cost.

“Magical corner in the jungle, super pretty and amazing people”

We came to celebrate my boyfriend birthday and it was the best choice we could take! This place is super special- quiet, magical, boutique, green wherever you look! The decoration is so beautiful and the vibe in this place it was just what we wished for. The girls are amazing! so lovely, welcoming and kind. Always with a smile! They have really been there for anything we asked for, I felt that they are thinking of everything that can makes us feel good and comfort. They totally think of all the small details. Thank you so much for everything, I wish I will get the chance to come again. You’re doing great!

“Nice experience”

The owner is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast she prepared is generous and really delicious. The lodge is in the middle of the jungle and you get the full authentic experience. The outside shower is great. The bathroom is nice and well equipped.

“Chic, unique and memorable!”

Beautiful, architect designed bungalow, with minimalist aesthetic. The bed was comfortable and plunge pool a welcome respite from the high humidity. We loved having the beautifully presented breakfast delivered to our terrace each morning. Breakfast was always nutritious, and delicious (but note this is a small establishment so breakfast comes as a surprise each day). If you are looking for an immersive jungle type experience this is the place for you, expect insects , jungle sounds; we loved the early morning howler monkey alarm call!! Lara, the owner is pleasant and responsive to deal with, even returning one evening to deliver a lighter so we could light the mosquito coils that were provided.

“STUNNING ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT FOR A PERFECT STAY”

Aire is a magic place in nature, is an amazing architectural project where details are not comune. I love the minimal and accurate style of Aire and We can see all that did Lara for have a special place. I will come back for sure. Alessandra

Very peaceful and special place surrounded by nature and close to the beach. I really liked the design of the suite, it's bright, cosy and you can open the doors and will have great views into the jungle. It also comes with a great outdoor shower and a small private pool. Every detail is made with love. The owner is super friendly and prepared a delicious breakfast. I felt very welcome! I can recommend this place to everyone seeking a special accommodation in order to escape the busy town.

“AIRE was absolute perfection”

AIRE was absolute perfection. Surrounded by nature, it offered total peace. From the moment I arrived, I felt embraced by the serene surroundings. The accommodation was comfortable and beautifully designed. I loved immersing myself in nature, whether it was taking walks or simply relaxing on the pool. The hosts were incredibly hospitable. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a peaceful getaway in nature.

“Fantastic hotel design. Great location near beach. Very welcoming staff, super helpful owners.”

The beach is about 200 meter walk. The owners are great communicating with you as you arrive, helping you get situated and answer questions. Quiet laid back part of town. Lovely breakfasts and the hotel itself is beautiful. The owners were super kind and really went above and beyond for us. You can tell they want you to have a great experience in the space. Will stay here again next time we are in the PV area for sure.
