The location is deep in the jungle, secluded and private—the perfect place to escape the city. The food and drinks at the restaurant are tasty, loved the pool and river stream. you also have 2 fur friends who are the sweetest things. You have the most amazing host, Trevor was gracious and welcoming!! He just wanted to make sure my friends and I had the best time.

“Peaceful and relaxing”

It was calm and relaxing, perfect for a short escape from the city center. My bed was very comfortable and I could enjoy the garden-light-show through the window. The pool area was comfortable too. The place is full of art and very pretty.

Twisting through the jungle, and arriving at Amaria is like finding a magic world. Trevor and his team welcome you with warmth and you'll instantly feel at home here. Delicious food, icy cocktails, and float in the warm pool for hours. I left Amaria Villas buy wantrd to stay. My dog, Annie made friends here, and so did I. My bed was fantastically comfy. And I didn't even mention the one-of-a-kind weekly show!

What an incredible find!!! Far up the river from the craziness of Puerto Vallarta, this sanctuary was carved out of the jungle to provide quiet and privacy for your stay. The largest and most perfectly maintained pool anywhere!!! Stunning! We will be back!

We had dinner and breakfast and both meals were delicious. This place has a laid-back vibe. The owners and staff are very chill. It’s definitely off the beaten track. Great birdwatching and the pool is wonderful.

Wow what a find! My wife and I were travelling to PV to take a break from our weekly grind and Amaria more than delivered this. From the delicious breakfasts to the patio hammocks, this place is truly an oasis. Our host Trevor went out of his way to make us feel at home, and mixes a mean margarita. Best of all was that he was able to arrange us transportation into town each day so we got the best of both worlds. We were able to explore Vallarta and also relax poolside in the evenings. Thank you for your hospitality Trevor, we look forward to staying with you again in future!

“A hidden gem in PV”

This is a great place to get away from the busyness of Puerto vallarta romantica zone. It's a short 10 minutes up the hill in the mountains. Uber will go there and the owners will arrange a ride back down to town for you. It is very laid back atmosphere and the pool is amazing...warm and a deep end for diving...and the lighting and atmosphere around pool and restaraunt area is very romantic. It is very quiet except for some birds which we liked. This could also be a great place for a group of friends to stay for a few days to chill out together. Trevor was very friendly and flexible for us with check in and check out time. Also I had lost my ring and came back to look for it. Hats off to Jesse...I hope I got his name right...for finding it for me.

Breakfast was good we had a kitchenette and made a lot of our own meals when we were there. The pool was heated and clean, staff were very friendly they allow small dogs. The owner was very accommodating we look forward to staying at Amaria Villas again when in Puerto Vallarta.

I was made to feel so welcome, cared for and the peacefulness I experienced was exactly what I hoped to find. The sense of community that is encouraged by the owners is lovely and guests were introduced to each other upon arrival. For a solo traveller, ths meant alot. Amaria Villa is most certainly a unique gem in the jungle and owners Stanley and Trevor are beautiful souls as are the staff members. Down to earth and kind hearted is the best way to describe the folks that are employed at Amaria Villas. Namaste with heartfelt gratitude for my amazing week long stay. Barb

“Hidden paradise with an amazing pool”

The owner and all the personal of the hotel were really friendly. I arrived in the middle of the night and they waited for me. The pool is amazing, and the best part is that water is warm. I had a big room just for me, the bed was comfortable. One other thing worth mentioning is the sculptures around the gardens of the hotel, I had the feeling to be in an open museum. I definitely recommend this place and I hope I can come back soon. I really enjoyed my stay!!

Huge deep and heated pool. Very friendly and helpful staff. Peaceful atmosphere. Good prices,no insect problems Disco show area unique. Wonderful little villas. Easy to make friends. Something to discover in every corner. Trevor the manager and his staff are really helpful.

This is a great place away from the city. If you want to take a break from Puerto Vallarta and relax in the jungle it is definitely for you. The owners and staff are great - we didn't have a car so they drive us to the bus stop several times. They serve delicious drinks and food. Another plus is the swimming pool.
