Overview
Overlooking Gran Canaria’s Puerto Rico Bay, the family-run Gelimar Apartments offer an outdoor pool surrounded by terraces and gardens. Each simple apartment has free WiFi, satellite TV and a private terrace with sea views. All Gelimar apartments have tiled floors and a spacious living room with a sofa bed. Kitchenettes include a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Staff at Apartamentos Gelimar can provide information about the area and arrange airport transfers or car rental. Free parking can be found in the surrounding streets. The Gelimar is within 15 minutes' walk of Amadores Beach and Puerto Rico Harbour, where there are many bars and restaurants. The nearest supermarket is 150 metres away. Anfi Tauro Golf Club is a 10-minute drive away, while Playa de Inglés is less than 20 km from the apartments. Pets are welcome at Gelimar, only in the Standard Rooms, and a veterinarian service is available if necessary at a discount price. However pets are NOT allowed in the Deluxe Rooms.

A lovely apartment with everything we needed. Great view of the bay and the pool was perfect. Very nice to have the apartment cleaned so often - the pool was also cleaned daily and the flowers on the balconies and around the pool were lovely. Would definitely recommend.

“Exceptional, fantastic hosts”
The apartment was bright & modern, very good value for money. There is a fantastic view from the Apartment, we stayed in Apartment 4. Gema & Luis are wonderful hosts & make you feel very welcome, it's like home from home! The apartment was cleaned daily & pool is very well kept. There is a good supermarket very close by. The beach & Restaurants are a short walk away, there is a bit of an incline on the way back. I would highly recommend the property.

It was clean and well equipped. Owners were extremely helpful and friendly. A bonus was bottled water ready available on the premises no dragging back from the shop. Amazing views from the apartment and cleaned daily

A real gem of a 2 bed apartment. Luis & Gema are fantastic hosts & advised on areas of interest in Puerto Rico to visit, along with good places to eat. They organised transport to/from the airport for us also. The apartment was cleaned daily, with a lovely well kept pool on site. Beach is a short walk, with the town centre is a 10 minute walk, bit of incline on way back to apartment!! Couldn’t fault any aspect of our stay & would highly recommend the property to guests coming to Puerto Rico.

The owners were super friendly hosts who do everything to make theie guests feel comfortable. They even offerd to bring us to a doctor with their car (our daughter got sick). The appartment is very clean and nice. walking distance to the beach is 10 to 15 minutes and easily capeable also for kids.

We stayed for two weeks (Feb/Mar 2024) at the GELIMAR apartments. Gema, Luis, and their team are warm and welcoming. They did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable, promptly responding to requests. The apartment was ultra clean, thanks to Carmen's daily efforts. The pool was also immaculate, thanks to Vincente. I swam every day without goggles and got no red eye. The location is a perfect base for exploring what the resort offers. The view from our apartment was glorious - overlooking the Puerto Rico bay. The pool and sunbathing areas are excellent alternatives for those not wishing to go to the beach, which gets busy. An excellent local supermarket 200 meters down the road provides for everyday holiday requirements. Street parking, but had no problems in peak season.

Fantastic stay at Gelimar. The apartment was clean and well equipped. It had a great balcony to have a coffee, lunch or dinner while enjoying the magnificent view of Playa de Puerto Rico.

The apartment was very clean and the beds very comfortable. The staff were fantastic, the only issue we had was with ants which they sorted out asap. A very well equipped apartment with amazing views over Puerto Rico. Highly recommended. We stayed in no5 on the top floor.
