Cosy hostel, good facilities (especially the kitchen). The owner was very friendly and gave us some tips for hiking in Torres del Paine.

Very cozy accommodation, the room was spacious for all three of us. Great kitchen facilities, they have everything you need to cook and do laundry. Also equipment that you can rent for the hike.

Everything was clean and cozy. Especially, the hospitality of the host Jaime was outstanding. He was even giving us the option to rent his van in order to explore the national park and have an unique experience. His recommendations were great and made us have a fantastic trip!

“Nice place to stay prior and after treks in TDP”

Very nice host, he knows everything about TDP do he can help and advise on W or O trek. Hot water and heating in the room. Well equipped kitchen. You can leave your things if you are going to treks to Torres Del Paine. Good breakfast - not in portions, so it was a very nice advantage. Nice location to bus station - like 15 min, but further to the city centre (25min). We were also able to rent tent and sleeping bags for our W trek from the hostel.

Jimmy was very friendly, always up for a chat, and super helpful. Breakfast was good. There was bread, eggs, and spread available to make your own in the morning and coffee + tea. The bed was comfortable, heating was a plus and great hot shower with good pressure. Laundry service and many tours available too!

Exceptional welcoming by the owner. He always made sure to give good advise about our trip. I will happily stay again if I come back to Puerto Natales. Thanks Gimmy!

“Good stay overall 😄”

Very good location - close to the bus station and there’s a convenient store just a minute walk away. The hostel has a homey feel to it, the kitchen is fully equipped (stoves are working and the kitchen has an oven).You can also rent equipment and clothing in the hostel (plus book tours). The owner was lovely 😄

“Great base for trekking”

Great place, it's a very relaxed place, the owner gives you a lot of freedom and is very friendly. You can rent all kinds of gear for the trekking. You can store your luggage, and do laundry for a fee. The breakfast is out in the night, so even if you have to wake up early you can grab breakfast, the breakfast is amazing. Plus great internet, I liked staying here.

Very clean and tidy hostel. Bed was very comfortable. Very cute and warm room. Owner was friendly. We were allowed to prepare and pack our next day breakfast on previous night, which was very helpful for us to leave on time for our hike.

Very friendly owner, he told us a lot about hikes in Torres del Paine (including W). Spacious hostal and well equipped kitchen. Walking distance from bus terminal.

“Good value for money”

Breakfast was good. Nothing special but we got to scramble some eggs and there was lots of bread, juice, marmelade and coffee. We did NOT go hungry. Host was nice and helped us do washing (against a fee, but still) Kitchen was well equipped.

We had such a great week staying in Isla Yu. The room was extremely comfortable, a very well equipped kitchen, the bathroom was spotless, the common area was spacious and the house was always warm. Jimmy, his sister Ximena and the volunteers were so kind and helpful especially as I was on my own with three year old. My little one loved every moment with the family. And Jimmy was extremely encouraging and helpful when I was playing my Torres hikes. From renting anything we needed to general advice. The breakfast is a lovely touch, and I loved the flexibility plus the self service option. The location is a quick walk from the bus station and yes about a 25min walk to the centre but it's a nice walk (and considering many come to PN to hike, not a long walk at all!). There are also plenty of nearby mercados and restaurants so you don't need to go to the centre each day. It was also a great place to meet other travellers. Cannot fault this very welcoming place. “Suitable for people who do not value sleep”

Friendly English-speaking host, eggs for breakfast, well equipped kitchen.

The host is amazing. The pace is clean. You can rent camping stuff at this pace which is amazing if you go to Torres del Paine and come back.
