“Perfect cosy hostel for a week in Patagonia run by lovely family”

100% recommend Hostel Sur!! Thank you to Kareena and Joanna for taking such amazing care of us for our week stay. You were so warm and helpful, we loved meeting you. Hostel Sur is very cosy, great bathroom and kitchen access, comfy beds and social space. We were in Patagonia during the winter season but the hostel was always kept warm by heaters. Very relaxing. “I’d definitely recommend this place”

The hostel was pretty close to the city centre, there was a lot of grocery stores close by and was 10 minutes away from the bus terminal by walk and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was as well good

It is safe. The staff are like family. The breakfast at 6am is simple, but filling. My kind of no nonsense, no airs and graces, simple living. It is warm in temperature and hospitality. I would stay again.

“Lovely stay”

One of the best nights sleep I’ve had in a hostel, very comfy and good facilities. Staff were lovely, let me have some bean soup that they cooked which was great.

Most and the best of all is the staff! Karina and her family are very friendly and helpful. Always with a smile on their faces! Recommended me a very good rental place which I haven't seen on my Google research. And the breakfasts are included and were very tasteful and different every morning. First time I've ever seen this in any hostel!

For a budget price the hostel is perfect, the staff are lovely and the breakfast was great - pancakes and sausage.

“Wonderful family run hostel in Puerto Natales”

Great cosy family run hostel at a very cheap price. Breakfast included which was great before our day trips out to Torres del Paine. Lovely family who are very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable and lockers available in the room. Kitchen facilities were great and bathrooms worked well. Luggage storage available at extra cost. 15 minutes walk from downtown restaurants, supermarkets and banks and 10 minutes from the bus station.

The service was very friendly and helpful. The place is basic but has the facilities you need. The breakfast was decent and the location was pleasant. Value was good comparatively,. particularly for single room.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, who thoughtfully asked us if we’d like to upgrade our room upon our return for Torres del Paine, and had our luggage we had left with them waiting in the room (luggage storage is 3,000 pesos). Good breakfast that sets you up well for hiking. Clean. Good laundry service.

I stayed at this hostel for two nights , one before my hike and one after I finished and everything was excellent. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed. The girls who work there are amazing! Friendly, warm, and always willing to help with anything you might need.They really make you feel at home. Their positive and beautiful energy really made a difference in my overall experience. I also appreciated the breakfast, simple, delicious, and exactly what you need before a long hike. Also, for a small fee, they offer luggage storage lockers, which was very convenient around my hiking schedule. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely stay here again and of course recommend it. Thank you for everything 💜

Nice staff . Clean bathroom

2 years ago I stayed in the same hostel. Now I came back because I liked it - and I was not at all disappointed. It was still very good!! The hostel has a nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good breakfast and is very clean. Muchas gracias!
