Thank you Gloria and family for welcoming us to your humble abode. You’re very easy going, offered delicious home made banana yoghurt bread for breakfast and for the dinner conversations also ♥️ the place was a short 8 minute walk to the bus stop and it’s very conveniently located to the supermarket also.

The hosts are super nice. We were upgraded to a room with our own bathroom which after coming back from the o-track was just wonderful. The shower was super nice and the breakfast was good including homemade bread, ham and cheese and jam.

The hosts welcomed us very nicely. Understand that this is a house with 2-3 bedrooms rented and that the family lives there. Good location, 3min walk to the bus station and 6min to the central streets. Breakfast was 2-3 different types of cereal (including oats), coffee/tea, ham & cheese, bread and a very nice homemake banana bread. They kindly kept our bag during our checkout day until the evening.

Gloria and Oskar were very nice hosts. We felt like at home. Very good value for money. Good breakfast, close to central bus station.

“Good friendly hostal close to the bus station”

Gloria and Oscar are very kind. We felt like at home. They waited for us till late and gave to us all the information. The hostal is in a good position, 5 Min from the main bus station. The breakfast is good and It Is served very early in the morning to let you to take the bus at 7 to torri del paine. We are Happy to come there and to know Gloria and Oscar. They are very friendly.

“Warm and welcoming, homey hostal!”

The hostal is homey, warm and welcoming. The hosts were super interested and helpful communicating with us despite our basic Spanish. Beakfast time was always based on our plans - very accommodating. We could cook our own meals and converse with the family at dinner time - such a great exchange of culture! If you crave cultural inteaction in your travel, you will love to stay with Gloria and her family in Hostal El Campesino.

This place started off via couchsurfing and it still very much feels like you are staying in someone's home. The owners are very friendly and will go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. They were so helpful I cannot recommend them enough. Also conveniently very close to the bus station and walking distance from the center!

Lovely, welcoming, helpful and friendly family-run place. They went above and beyond, chatting over breakfast looking after our bags after we checked out, and even giving us a lift to the bus stop!

Great people, great location, very nice room with freshly renovated bathroom. Gloria, her husband Oscar and their daughter Alison make you feel like you are at home and helped immediately with everything i asked them. The location is 7 min. walk from the center and in a very quiet neighborhood. The bed was very comfortable, they have an automated lock, so you can enter the house without bothering anyone and don't have to carry keys. For the price, great value, i will gladly stay there again when i visit Patagonia, i can only recommend the place.

“Nice family to stay at”

This hostel is owned by a very kind and friendly family, I had nice conversations with our host’s father even though I don’t speak Spanish and he doesn’t speak English 😄. They allowed us flexible checkin and checkout, we had free luggage storage while we were in the Paine Park and we could rent camping gear at a fair price. The room is basic, but clean, bed and pillows are comfortable. It’s a welcoming place for a short stay.
