“You get what you pay for”

This is not a 'star' clsss hotel, something in between a hostal and a hotel. You get what you pay for. A worn out room with a tiny washroom. An outdated heating system. Poor sound proofing. But these outdated amenities does meet your basic needs. This is a place for you to come back after a hectic day at the Torres Del Paine and slump onto the bed. Centrally located and the taxi charges 10k Peso for and to the airport. But the owner, Marcos, does make a big difference - polite and always available to attend to all your needs and concerns. Nothing special about the breakfast, but it's a very big plus point. Even if you are leaving early, the breakfast is available at 6 a.m. No complaints for the price you pay, specially in a touristic place like Puerto Natales.

The room was basic but sufficient and clean. The bed was very comfortable to sleep on. Most importantly, the room came with a heater which makes you feel warm in the cold and windy Patagonian weather. The hot shower and fast WiFi works as well. The owner was very friendly and helpful despite the language barrier. He also allowed me to store my large suitcase at the hotel for free while I was away doing the Torres Del Paine hike. Location-wise, it’s within walking distance to most places in Puerto Natales (3 minutes walk to the Unimarc supermarket, 15 minutes walk to the bus terminal).

The best thing about Hostal Reymar is its staff. In particular, Marco clearly cares for all of his guests: making sure breakfast is comprehensive, suggesting improvements for itineraries, getting taxis in time, and much more. Location was quite close to all you need in Puerto Natales. Would go again!

Convenient overnight stay before & after our trek in Torres del Paine. Breakfast room was very pleasant & the breakfast was good. Family who run the hostel are all very helpful & friendly. Lovely cafe next door. We were also able to leave some luggage behind which we didn't need on our trek.
