Absolutely loved everything about it. Loved the camping vibe. Loved the shared outdoor kitchen. Bring your own food! The town of Leona Vicario is just 5 minutes away to buy supplies. The walkways and plant life are absolutely beautiful. The little houses are super cute and fun.

When you book, you should be aware that this accommodation is in the jungle. The cleanness will not be perfect and you should not be afraid of insects.

“Stunning place in the jungle”

Amazing experience. It was like living in a jungle but with all the comfort. They treated us very well offering a great cabin, better than that one I was expecting. The all place is really cool and they have many common areas like kitchen, pool, yoga room and living room that makes the all space the perfect eco habitat to live in harmony with nature and others.

The cabin was lovely with wooden floors and a comfortable bed. The yoga studio was really gorgeous with netted walls so we could hear the birds.

“Great jungle experience”

We loved this place a lot. We were a group of 8 and had 2 palapas. the staff is super friendly and set up a bonfire for us. They even allowed us to check out later. We had the whole jungle to ourselves :) which was amazing too. We definitely recommend this place for disconnecting in the jungle with friends.

Madre Tierra was a great experience. We loved the feel of the little eco village, and loved being "Away from it all" in the jungle. At night it was definitely colder then being closer to the ocean but this did not take away from the experience. We did our grocery shopping in Puerto Morelos (Your closest option for full stoked grocery store) then spent our first 4 days of th4 trip at madre Tierra and exploring the local cenotes which are beautiful. Keep in mind that there is no refrigerator and you will be needing ice to store your food in the Supplied community cooler. This is helpful to know so you don't buy to much food all at once. The cooking area is nice and works great. staff is helpful and friendly, and overall this is definitely a place I would return to. We finished our trip out in Puerto where we did a couple scuba dives with Sun and Sea adventure among other things. The feel of the area is perfect for a relaxing getaway with as much adventure as you seek.

The meals were great. We loved the jungle location. It was a great place to explore the local attractions from. We enjoyed a couple of evenings by the campfire. Eduardo was a great host.

Loved the locatin for serenity, nature, and birding. Loved the treehouse-like cabin. Loved the openness and cool breeze all night. I saw 12 new birds for my life list in the morning :)

“Relaxing nature spot”

The spot is idyllic and exactly as promised -- spare facilities but all in nature. The spot had places to sit outside, as well as a cordoned-off "living room" area with bug nets for hanging out in during the night when bugs are out. The staff was lovely and extremely helpful.

The staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Calm and quiet location.

This was the perfect little slice of heaven to escape to. In the middle of nowhere, yet still easily accessible. It was quiet, peaceful, comforting, and very easy to relax. Management, staff, and volunteers were a small, intimate group that went out of their way to make everyone comfortable. The meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you choose) are all home-cooked on-site and incredibly delicious and they have a variety of vegan options that were all out of this world. Mornings here are peaceful and the perfect backdrop for early meditation/yoga in the meditation tent. The afternoons can be lazy if you choose, in a hammock with a good book or an afternoon siesta in one of the cozy cabins, and the evenings are quiet, either by the bonfire or laying out under the dark sky and bright stars listening to nothing but the night creature noises. (*note - when we were here they were working on the construction of the Tren Maya, so trucks could be heard driving by in the distance, but that is almost finished and it didn't take away from the beauty of our stay.) Our dogs were warmly welcomed and enjoyed exploring the space as much as we did. The property and cabins are meticulous. This stay did not disappoint and we will be back. Very nice location. Nice wooden cabins in the forest. You feel connected with nature (you hear the birds sing in the morning). You can visit a cenote close by (only 30 min by foot).

We rented the family room as we were 3 adults and had and 3 separate sleeping areas. Very spacious. Gorgeous cabin with its own dining area which we took full advantage of at dinner and breakfast. The evening meal was outstanding (do pre-book it with Eduardo). The staff could not have been more lovely or attentive and even came to our rescue at nearly midnight when we locked ourselves out of our bathroom (tip: don't let the door swing back against the wall and then bounce shut!). Eduardo was very communicative and greeted us with the ice cold beers we had requested. It felt as if we were in an exclusive resort with butler service. A really lovely experience. The whole place is beautiful and the incredible fact is that it is off-grid, solar powered (with the occasional generator boost) and somehow cool and fresh at night so you can sleep comfortably without even a ceiling fan. I'd really like to keep this a secret! It's really special - the place and the staff....and the food!

Located in the jungle near Leona Vicario on the road from Puerto Morelos. Natural setting. Very peaceful. Maybe about 10 cenotes along that road. A trip to Puerto Morelos is possible. It is not far away. Accommodating manager and staff.
