Great place to stay. It is comfortable, clean and the kitchen is well equipped. It has a nice common area where people can meet. Daniela is super nice to make you feel at home. She gives great recommendations about day trips or how to get somewhere.

We had a nice stay. The room was spacious and clean. The facilities are basic, but there is everything you need. The property is peaceful and has a cool swimming pool area. We were alone at the property during our stay and really enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. There is a colectivo bus every 15 minutes to the beach for 10 pesos, or a taxi for around 50 pesos. ADO bus station is just 10 minutes walking.

“Great Stay!!”
The owner of the hostel was away while we were here, and the woman who was taking care of the place, Daniela, was just incredible. The staff were very kind, and accommodating. We would definitely return to stay here again. Thank you so much!

“Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable, clean, quiet.”
What I appreciated. First the welcoming of Juana and Lucas, the staff. I arrived early, so Lucas, while I was waiting for the bed, offered me a beer, on the cosy area near a small swimming pool. Comfortable bed, big room, nice bathroom, use of the kitchen. The owner was helpful with info, from the messages before arrival to the hints about town, beach, travel to airport... The view from the terrace was great, specially at sunset. I enjoyed my short stay.

“Peace at Humanity”
The host Ben took the time to welcome me and direct me via a map to the best places to eat and local happenings, like the Sunday fleamarket, which I otherwise would have missed. He spent time discussing his vision and the ethos of the place which I appreciated. The pool and covered patio was very welcoming and peaceful. I met and talked to interesting people and it was nice to socialise with older travellers for a change. (I was one of 3 other solo women travellers). When dogs from the street charged at me, which was scary, Ben was immediately by my side to chase them away. Ben, thank you for that and goe taking time to ensure I felt very at home at Humanity.

“Lovely friendly hostel!”
Loved my stay! The team are really friendly and helpful, lovely atmosphere at the hostel, really chilled and not a party hostel but plenty of opportunities to socialise. It’s basic but has everything you need. Close to shops, supermarket, nice town square and easy to take the collectivo to the beach. Bed was really comfy, bring a padlock for a locker by the bed. Activities pretty much every day from visiting a dog shelter to salsa dancing to drinks to film nights.

“Lovely area, friendly staff, good activities on offer.”
I had an enjoyable stay at HH, stayed here for 17 nights total. The hostel is well presented with friendly staff to help check you in and give you a tour of the place. They do regular events and activities throughout the week that you can join, and the staff are always on hand to give you assistance or advice should you need it. The town of PM is lovely and local if you want a more authentic experience away from the local cities. The hostel is very quiet, not a lot of guests passing through

“A taste of real Mexico just minutes from the tourist section”
The hostel is located in a quiet part of town away from the more busy tourist area. The hosts Ben and Morgan were very helpful and knowledgeable of the local area and I particularly liked their activity board that offers local things going on each day like a local coffee roastery, beach cleaning, dog rescue centre, salsa class. I took a private room which was very comfortable, as was both the outdoor seating in the courtyard and lovely rooftop area to watch the sunset. A laid back chilled hostel for a peaceful stay, yet an easy 10 minute ride in the frequent local mini bus to the beach.

“Your home away from home in Puerto Morelos”
This place is a must! Ben and Mo are the coolest hosts, always there to answer any questions you may have. Their recommendations for food and activities around the hostel are spot on (We had the best burrito of our trip, right next door), you feel right at home when you get there. Great vibes all around!
