“Stunning location and Jason and team were exceptional”

It was a wonderful experience . There weren’t any other guests for the 2 nights we were there . We had the cenote to ourselves . Jason was a fabulous host, charming and kind …. and his cooking was incredible . We loved watching the coati and grey foxes at dinner .

“Unsafe and misleading experience – would not have booked if we had known”

We booked this place expecting a peaceful stay in the jungle near a cenote. Instead, the experience felt unsafe and very misleading. The last 7 km to the property are on a rough dirt road with deep holes and large puddles, taking around 40 minutes to drive. We were afraid of getting stuck or damaging the car, and this was not clearly communicated in advance. Upon arrival, we were met by two people. One appeared heavily intoxicated, which immediately made us feel unsafe. The other person did not speak English and stayed in the background, making the situation feel unclear and disorganized. Two hours before arrival, we received a menu with many food options, so we did not buy food beforehand. At the property, we were told that the only available food was rice with chicken or fish. We were also the only guests, which added to the feeling of isolation. Because we did not feel safe, we left immediately, despite it being dark and having to drive back on the same dangerous road. Our request for a refund was later refused, and the explanation was just so off. This review is meant as a warning to other travelers. Important information about access, safety, staffing, and food was not disclosed. Had we known this, we would never have booked.

“Lovely stay in the jungle, would love to stay for longer next time!”

The property was amazing, the pods stunning and the location was so peaceful. We were welcomed by such a friendly team and they provided us with a lovely dinner and drinks. The dining area is such a beautiful spot. They cooked some separate food for my sister who has a nut allergy. The private cenote was amazing, we explored that in the morning. We were sadly only there for one night and arrived in the dark, so seeing the space in the daylight was even lovelier! The rooms are furnished beautifully and so so comfy. The privacy is also nice between each pod. Breakfast was also lovely.

“A hidden gem perfect for a short break away of the city”

Alma Maya is a hidden gem, away from the crowd and busy Cancun. The place is beautiful, with lots of green and fresh air around. Our room was amazing, very private and with all the ammenities to have a well-deserved rest. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The food we had during our stay was very tasty. We also used the gym, the lovely private cenote and the meditation room, and on our last night we had a firepit. The staff is incredibly kind, helpful and attentive. All in all a great stay!

“Great value oasis in the jungle”

Great staff and excellent value for money. This place was a perfect little oasis in the jungle. Recommend the chilaquiles and the arrachera tacos!

We were looking for a stay in place closer to Cancun airport hence we suppose to go back to the next day. Somehow I found here and it really amazed us. The resort is in jungle, it has its own private cenote. You are in a nature with amazing vibe surrounded. We really enjoyed our time in Cenote. Staff was so polite and helpful. We also had breakfast and dinner there, meals were so delicious. I always wanted to try to stay in bubble hotel, and my dream came through. We stayed in bubble hotel with small private pool in front. I was absolutely amazed. I really recommend this place.

From the first moments we arrive until the moment we left Yannin and her team treated us wonderfully. They made a special effort to help us celebrate a family birthday. It was a truly fantastic guest experience for us all. Nothing was too much trouble, they made great vegetarian food for us. The food there was first class.

The resort is great, unique and new. The staff really goes the extra mile throughout the entire stay. The room itself is very modern, clean and comfortable with all the amenities needed. The bubbles are private so do not worry about that. The amenities offered are very unique as well. The restaurant offers very good and simple food prepared there. There are also a few board games and a pin pong table to play while being there. The cenote is quite incredible, only for the guests. When we were there we had the cenote all for us which was an incredible experience. There are other services offered which we did not have time to try. If you are looking for something different and outside the chaos of Cancun this is really a nice place to stay.
