Stayed here for 1 night - good value for money and a nice host. Location - great for us returning a 4x4 nearby or those coming up the final section of route 7 before a hand over. You may however easily drive past the side road for this as there is nothing to say its here and the signage in the photos is no longer there. Parking - secure gated area ... no fear hear but thats more to keep the beautiful rabbits in :) Room - this is basically an old ranch house and you're staying in someone's home. More of an AirBnB style. However the room was nice, big, comfy and did the job well. Facilities - hot tea and coffee is available in the common room at any time. This was a nice touch and they have sofas and games etc. Breakfast - nice simple breakfast with egg if wanted. Staff (not really) - the person who lives here was so nice...spoke hardly any English but that didn't stop us having a good chat. We felt super welcomed and looked after. Note - im not going to put this as a negative because overall this was fine however it is so secure it felt like once we were in ... we were in! Had to buzz to get in to the house if you went to the vehicle etc as you dont get a key to the front door. The electronic gate is also opened via CCTV so didn't feel like we could just go out for dinner etc. BUT it is a fantastic price and perfect for an overnight stay.
