The food was excellent and the staff are incredible, any inconvenience they had covered in an instant. 2 examples: 1, A tour I booked cancelled on me last minute, I enquired at reception as I discovered they arrange tours - new tour sorted in no time! 2, They give you what’s app number for communication, we were in the city and couldn’t get a taxi, quick text to Kapeivi taxi there in 2 minutes flat!

“Good stay”

The property is very clean and it has a very nice garden with big trees, orchids and cats :) the property is in the city but further away, which is both good (no noise, more jungle) and bad (for everything one needs a taxi, it’s full of stray dogs and quite disturbing around). One day there was a water shortage, but the property brought us tanks with water to use, so they managed the crisis perfectly. Very nice staff members, very helpful and very kind. The dinner menu was very well thought and delicious.

“Very happy I booked to stay here an extra 3 nights after a change of plans was needed due to illness”

Lovely tropical gardens and a rustic feel, although on the outskirts of town it was easy to arrange a taxi in. Initially we had one night booked at the end of a jungle safari but I had to cancel this due to illness, and luckily was able to book another 3 nights here prior as we needed to see a doctor in town. The staff were great and helped organise taxis daily into town for money exchange and to go to the dr and pharmacy. We stayed in the big bungalow 3 nights (had a big tv and a kitchen) and a standard room the last night. After a good walk around Puerto Maldonado town I would say this would be one of the best places to stay, an oasis away from the fumes of the city. The breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the day. Filtered water is provided to top up your water bottles and you can help yourself to hot tea throughout the day. Nice cocktails available with dinner and you could grab a beer from the reception fridge when you wanted. I enjoyed 2 out of 4 of the evening meals but the food was a bit hit and miss. I did really like the Uncucha meal, an Amazonian root served 3 ways (vegetarian option). Day trips could be easily organised via whatsapp and we enjoyed the Lake Sandoval afternoon trip and Lake Yacumama sunset trip. We also took a taxi to the Amazonian wildlife refuge/rehab centre which I recommend.

Absolute paradise! Beautiful hotel, pool, garden, restaurant. The rooms were so comfortable and nicely designed (we really appreciated it after a few days in the rainforest lodge). We saw a sloth and monkeys around the swimming pool area. Also, the restaurant serves amazing food. To sum up, it was a great place.

Great friendly serviceminded staff! Speak excellent English. Great jungle vibes and garden feeling. Nice large balcony, mosquito nets at the doors. The 1 öbed room I stayed 3 nights had an amazing dreamy bed!! I stayed 1 more night in a room with 2 beds and beds were slightly less comfy. Memory foam pillows, Slept like a baby! Atmosphere is great. Staff get you a taxi when needed in no-time. Cute dog and cats around. Food at the restaurant is very inspired and unusual. The loungemusic makes it youthful and gives slight Dubai vibes.

The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help you. The pool is lovely and quiet and the rooms are done to such a high standard.

“Lush green Oasis in the Amazon”

Kapievi’s garden is lush Green and beautiful. A real oasis. The reception and Restaurant area is Open and inviting. The rooms are spacious and modern with a great air con (which is especially nice after a long day in the Amazon Jungle!) Staff is doing their best to make your stay memorable and as pleasant as possible. 10/10! They Even organized an organic cacao cake from a local bakery for my girlfriends Birthday. The Pool area is Great and the Jungle gym is small but has everything you need. If you come to Puerto Maldonado stay here.

“I wanted to treat me well for some days and I couldn't have made a better choice.”

The personnel is very nice and polite, they helped me with the taxi, laundry service and they gave me advices for the tours. I had an amazing massage with Lirio. The restaurant was great, I would have tried the entire menu if I could! With a bit of luck, you can also spot some animals in their beautiful garden. I wanted to treat me well for some days and I couldn't have made a better choice.

“Lovely out the way hotel, caution of music from else where.”

Loved the feeling of being in the jungle ( well visually) the noise from the music. Nice room, balcony and bathroom with shower. Nice pool as different from your standard pool. Staff on reception Almendra and Javier were excellent. They couldn't do enough to help us. Even arranging a taxi to collect us when we were stuck in town because of a torrential downpour. Anything we needed they helped us out always. Very polite and spoke good English which helped us.
