The family are all so friendly and go out of their way to help you. The cabin is super cosy and right amongst the fruit trees and animals on the property. Food was all home made and delicious!

“Quiet and peaceful jungle stay”

Sheyla and her parents were fantastic hosts and made sure I had everything I needed. Breakfasts changed every morning and always included fresh juice, and lunches and dinners were available at a cost of s/25. The mosquito net in my room kept out all mosquitoes during the night. There was a cold spell, so I was given extra blankets to keep warm at night. Sheyla was excellent at coordinating tours into the jungle, which were reasonably-priced. I enjoyed seeing monkeys and birds on the property, and the family kitten was a nice bonus. The property is off the beaten track so it was nice and quiet all the time.

Absolutely loved our stay here, Sheila was so wonderful and helped us with taxis, renting bikes and even pointing out the monkeys swinging through the trees at night! The family who run the place is so sweet and we really felt like they cared about us there. The guest house is perfect, well protected from mosquitos and nice having our own little kitchenette too! Be prepared for lack of shops and restaurants in this area but it’s an incredible experience as you really feel like you’re in the wilderness of the jungle. Short taxi ride to the city anyway so not too far from civilisation. Such a brilliant stay would definitely come back! The juice that they give you at breakfast too is the most incredible thing in the world - my boyfriend says it’s the best he’s ever had 😍

“Amazing place!”

I have been to many places but this one was by far the most comfortable and chill experience of all my travels. The little hut and the hammocks around the place are super cozy and you can watch a lot of wildlife doing its thing while just relaxing. (I have seen a lot of animals and plants/flowers just by walking around the place) Sheyla and her family are amazing and the food they are offering is delicious! You can also book tours with a very competent guide from the community for a reasonable price. Very much a no brainier if you want to see the rainforest in a cozy warm place where you can relax and also easily take trips around the area since it is close to the city as well. Really a hidden gem! :)

We enjoyed every minute at this place. It is a fantastic combination between having electricity and internet everywhere and being in the middle of the jungle. Like a very luxurious version of camping. They were very helpful with everything. We loved their food and the fresh juices. We loved cooking outside. The kitchen is simple but you can cook most of the dishes. The activities were great and cheap in comparison to others. The beds are better than our own at home. They really need to tell everybody, that there will be real Monkeys and other animals visiting. It is spectacular.

“Lovely place in the jungle”

Amazing place in the Amazon. We really enjoyed our stay here, the bungalows were simple but perfect, all you need in nature. It was out of the center but if you are looking for something affordable in nature this is the perfect place.

“Gorgeous location”

Beautiful area with an amazing forest view. Lovely host who was very responsive and helpful cooking us fabulous meals and ordering us taxi’s whenever we needed. There was a common area to lounge in near the river with hammocks that we loved.

“A jungle paradise with good connection to the city”

We had a very lovely stay here! We extended with a few days even. Sheyla and her family are so kind and warm, giving us fruit juices in the morning and ordering taxis for us when we need it. Top quality host with a good heart. The place has all you need for a pleasant stay in the jungle. We also swam in the river, very nice! Would totally recommend this place to anyone that wants to be away from all city noise but still have the possibility to go to town in 10 minutes with a taxi.

“perfect”

this was the best place we stayed in all of Peru. our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. very private, everything you needed plus the family really make you feel like home. they went over and above to help us with our stay.
