“Wonderful hostel”
Everything was perfect. It’s a beautiful place in beautiful and peaceful surroundings. My room was spacious and clean. Richard, who runs the place, is a very nice person and can help you with everything.

Great location with parking: somewhat tricky to get in, but you get used to it. Staff (Richie and wife) were wonderful, and so was breakfast: savory, sweet, fruit included every day. Pretty property with lush vegetation along a creek. Good Wifi throughout (I found out later that there are different routers covering various areas of the property)

We stayed in the hostel for one night before our 6 days sailing trip from Puerto Lindo to Cartagena. It's a nice place for backpackers close to the shops and restaurants - they have a big hand made map on the wall which shows all the spots around the village with a walking duration. The closest restaurant - Casa X - is about 10 minutes by walk and the Linton Bay Marina port is about 25 - 30 minutes by walk. The place isn't very touristy and it can be difficult to get there if you don't have a car. We arrived by bus from Portobelo but there aren't any visible bus stops so we asked the driver to stop in front of the hostel. You won't find a schedule on the internet so you always have to ask locals about the transportation (we found the bus schedule written on board in the Casa X restaurant). Taxi is very expensive and you will hardly find an Uber in this area. The hostel itself was very quiet and clean with friendly staff and delicious breakfast and I really liked they provided shampoo and shower gel. Rooms are clean and big enough to feel comfortable, there are fans so you don't feel too hot during the day and the kitchen is well furnished. If you are looking for a place to stay in Puerto Lindo and you are backpacker on the budget I definitely recommend to choose Hostel Wunderbar.

300m away from the boats to Mamey Island but further away from the beaches . . . the accees to which is paying!!! Good wifi. Comfortable bed, hammock, outside table. Maybe a better place to relax than a base for visiting nearby.

Good value and location. Very friendly vibe. You can hear monkeys in the distance. Lovely cats and dogs and chill hammocks. Small breakfast included. Big rooms with airco

Phantastic hostal in the jungle, walking distance to the fishing village Puerto Lindo with some restaurants (recommendation: Casa X) from where you can do biat trips to the mangroves and the beautiful islands. Absolutely lovely place, perfect to relax a few days.

Beautiful hostel with very kind staff and great facilities. Very clean and breakfast was great! Nice place to relax in hammocks in the trees and a short walk to town.

Very spacious & stylish common space. Kitchen well equipped, coffee every morning. Kolibries are a joy to watch. Sylvia helps wherever she can to make your stay comfortable. You can make trips to beautiful beach islands like Mamey, 10 minutes $ 15,-. Hostel highly recommended 👍🏼
