Central and not so far from the airport. Lots of room and great kitchen space. The host was great and communicative. She was great at providing recommendations for tours and other useful services.

A beautiful, spacious house with such a unique feel — full of light and that lovely tropical fresh air. The kitchen and living area are downstairs, and the huge bedroom/studio upstairs opens onto a wraparound terrace, which we absolutely loved. The garden is just gorgeous. The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful, and waking up to birdsong made everything feel even more peaceful and special. We fell in love with the place so much that we changed our plans, rebooked, and are coming back.

Great place, good kitchen

I loved the upper floor and balcony, the wooden floors and decorations. The surrounding garden is beautiful and although you are right in the center of the town the place feels very quiet and peaceful.

“Cool place in the jungle”

Perfect place for visiting local national park. Originally designed (however it is more suitable for one pair/two single guests as there is only one huge bedroom space with no walls/partition and two beds). Hosts were really nice and helpful, when needed.

The hutch is quite spacious with a large bedroom. The garden is really nice, although small. Balcony upstairs is nice in the evening. Loads of animals close by, including howler monkeys.

Good location for day trip to Corcovado

Nice garden. The house is close to the port and therefore a good location for an overnight stay if going to corcovado. The shower has only "cold" water...but it was the perfect temperature for us. We arrived a bit early, but were allowed to leave our luggage inside - thanks for that!

Miah house is a gem located in a quiet cul de sac of Puerto Jimenez. It is close to supermarkets, bars and restaurant. We loved reading in the balcony and looking at the amazing wildlife visiting the garden which is always full of hummingbirds. The house is clean and comfortable and the bedroom is spacious and nicely decorated. The Jacuzzi is great after a whole day hiking in Corcovado and the washing machine was much needed after a week in the country. Thank you Ivana

“LIke having our own tiny house with a lovely balcony. Very relaxing.”

It was nice to have our own kitchen with appropriate accoutrements. The birds and howler monkeys were appreciated. MIAH and MIAH'S PARENTS are EXCELLENT HOSTS! We enjoyed a trip to Corcovado NP with a guide they recommended.

The host was great help for all kinds of requests and quick to reply. The house is very spacious and with a nice style. It's a great place to relax. I can absolutely recommend to stay there.

The house is surrounded by forest and has big windows and balcony on the second floor, we had a very good rest and it was a great location for visiting Corcovado NP.

Really kind hosts! :) Great place to stay to visit Gulfo Dulce. So much space for your own and lots of animals around the house. Monkeys and Aras next to the balcony. You can clean up your clothes and a Pali is next to the House (3-5min Walk). The hosts recommended a company for Tours - they were great but pretty wild! :D
