We stayed here one night before heading into Corcovado park. The contact with John beforehand was pleasant and upon arrival we were greated in a friendly way. As it was not fully booked, we got an upgrade which was super nice. The room was spacious and the beds were really confortable. The kids used the kayaks and the pool. During our trip to the national park, we could leave the car and our luggage at the hotel which was so nice. Would recommend this place for sure!

Convenient location, walking distance to pier, airport, local cafes and restaurants. Very useful having a mini-fridge in our room. Plenty of fans as well as a/c. Free use of bikes and kayaks. A cute little terrace. All staff very helpful with local information.

We got a room upgrade which was very much appreciated. Everything went pleasantly : from check-in with nice staff, to the quiet environment and the view on the golfo dulce, we went to the corcovado for several days in between our stay and could leave bags and car at the hotel. The weather on osa can be extrenely hot and humid, but the room had AC and fans. On top of that, we got offered some freshly fished tuna. Only good memmories at this hotel. Would definitely come back.

Amazing location and view, right on the beach, outside kitchen with enough amenities, free kayaks and bikes to explore the area, super helpful host who gave us all necessary insights, including where to find alligators!

“Peace and quiet”

We loved our stay in Cabinas Jimenez, we wished we could have stayed longer. The staff were amazing and helped us book trips. They offer the free use of canoes which were so much fun, the place is situated in a cove so the sea is very calm so you can go out quite far without worrying. There are a number of apartments with a kitchen and a sea view and I think we would book one of those if we came back. We also w4ent on a boat trip organised by the staff and saw turtles and dolphins and went snorkelling. There is space to cook on a BBQ or have a drink looking out on to the sea. It is a short walk into a small town that has a number of restaurants and a couple of supermarkets

“Super 1 night stay”

Staff were really friendly, relaxed and very knowledgeable. Shared lots of information about the town and the hike we had booked in the National Park. Also helped us be comfortable with the baggage pickup we had organised. Luggage was left secure in our room. Very good food suggestions too. It was quiet and we had comfy chairs outside to sit and watch the boats.

We were upgraded, we were by the sea. Good room with kitchen facilities. You can leave the car and bags at the hotel if you are going to Corcovado. And you can even take a shower when you are back

“The most amazing place”

What a place to stay!! Staff, location and accommodation were all amazing and excellent value for money. We had the best 3 days here and would definitely come back. All the staff were so friendly and helpful we were made to feel at home. I highly recommend booking the dolphin/ snorkelling tour with John! He was a fantastic captain and guide, very knowledgeable and did not give up on the search for dolphins until we found some. Such a wonderful experience and the fresh fruit snacks along the way were very much appreciated. Cabinas Jiménez is truly the most perfect place to stay while exploring the area 🥰
