“Amazing place and host!”

My wife and I recently stayed at El Arrayan, and we were both extremely happy with everything this hotel had to offer. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding—the owners Nadhira and Pablo are extremely friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. The location is simply unbeatable. Waking up to a stunning view of the General Carrera Lake and snowy mountains from our cabin was an experience in itself. The cabin was well equipped, very comfortable and spacious, offering a cozy retreat after a day of adventure. Everything is clean and well-maintained, reflecting the care put into making guests feel at home. For nature lovers and photographers, the surroundings are breathtaking, with endless opportunities for exploration. Another highlight was the food—Nadhira and Pablo prepared delicious meals with a variety of styles to suit every taste. After long hikes, enjoying a great meal in such a wonderful setting was the perfect way to end the day. A special mention to them for their encouragement an guidance to visit magnificent places around Puerto Guadal. This was an unforgettable stay for both of us, and we will definitely come back one day!

We LOVED our stay, the best throughout our Chile trip! From the sweet hosts, to Theo the dog, the delicious food (make sure to dine in for a wonderful 3-course dinner), the cool cabins with lovely views, the comfortable beds, shower and overall location.. Gracias Pablo y Nadira!

“Fantastic restaurant with nice cabins”

In my opinion the best restaurant in Chile and Argentina that also has got some very good cabins. In the restaurant it’s not just the fantastic food, it’s also the nice plates, the cutlery, all those small details including how the food is presented and of course the super-brilliant service of Pablo. The cabins have a fantastic view of the Lago General Carrera. I warmly recommend this place.

“Heaven in Puerto Guadal”

Everything. What a magnificent place to stay! Incredible view, so gentle hosts and so helpful concerning suggestions of excursions, places to visit. Dinners are very tasty, cooked by Pablo. We will return soon for a night there to appreciate again all those delights.

The host was excellent, cooking excellent dinners each night and incredibly attentive. The individual chalets are all modern and well maintained, with beautiful views across the lake. It has everything you need to base yourself to explore out to Patagonia National Park and beyond. Most chalets have a log burner for what can be chilly evenings in the spring. So many good things to say about this place!

Beautiful, modern and clean lodge; plenty of room with a big fridge, very large comfy bed, good shower with plenty of hot water. Huge windows in the sitting area and bedroom looking out over the lake. Restaurant was excellent for breakfast and dinner with Peruvian food, especially the crab cakes - we are there every night!

The view, service, and atmosphere are amazing here. I believe this was one of the highlights of our trip.

We had an amazing stay. The room room was very clean and comfortable with a magic view on the Lago Carrera. Pablo and Narita are very kind and helpful, sharing tipps and advices about outdoor activities (Parque Patagonia, Laguna San Rafael, Glaciares Los Leones). The breakfast is delicious and prepared with local ingredients. The restaurant is open for dinner and offers fresh and local food prepared by Pablo and Narita. We truly recommend it!

“Perfect host, great views, and excellent dinners”

Pablo was the best host we’ve had in all our trip to Chile, and indeed certainly among the best we’ve ever had in our many travels. Great recommendations on what to see and where to go, excellent dinners, perfect service. It’s hard to imagine how a host could be better. The place itself has one of the best views of the lake, and the rooms, while small, are very comfortable and well-designed.

“Amazing. Must stay!”

Pablo was simply the best host. I have a nut allergy and he catered to every meal we had in his restaurant. Nothing we asked for was too much trouble. The best stay we had in Chile and will remain in our memories forever. Pablo made recommendations to local must see attractions. Pablo took care and attention to likes and dislikes of food, my husband loves spicy food and Pablo made an extra spicy sauce just for him. Pablos cooking is honestly the best, always top tier meals served. The packed lunches are also incredible!! The rooms are comfortable and clean. We asked for laundry to be done and this was done quickly and affordable. When we read the reviews, we thought it can’t be that good! We will be the judge of that! But it really was!! Evening meal after evening meal, we were blown away by his proficiency and customer services

We had an excellent stay at El Arrayan and will come back here when we have a chance. The cottages are modern and well equipped with comfy beds and a stove (prepare to fire-up before bed time as in other places at Carretera Austral too). Pablo and his wife were super hospital with fantastic and healthy breakfast and gave very helpful recommendations for places to explore around Puerto Guadal (very worthwhile to visit Mina Esquinada, Cuevas de Puerto Guadal and the Maqui waterfall). I would also highly recommend to choose dinner at El Arrayan, it's a modern and delicious interpretation of Chilean food with a regional touch which Pablo artistically prepares. It was probably the best dinners and Pisco Sours we had in our whole stay in Chile. Thank you for the beautiful 3 days!
