Ms Sarah and Walt were lovely hosts, so helpful and enthusiastic about trying to make Mindoro more accessible for backpackers, love them and their mission!

Staff Sara was fantastic

The staff were very friendly, it was clean and a really chilled vibe. Lots of long stay guests so it shows it's good. Nice walk into town and to various beaches.

Excellent communication and very friendly and helpful hosts. Additionally, Walt and Zara are very kind and considerate people. The hostel is very unique in that many people extend their stay or return after months/years away because of the community that exists here…it’s like a big-ever-changing, accepting and loving family. Beds were comfortable, each having their own fan and electric outlet. Was able to rent a scooter for a great price.

Just read the other comments its all true, booked 4 nights, stayed 2 weeks. Its small so u get new friends and the hosts are some of them. Quiet still close to everything

Just a great Hostel with great People. You feel like a part of the family after to seconds thanks to the two owners Walter and Sarah :) The two cute dogs and the clean kitchen is a huge bonus.

Nice terrace & room. Staff were very pleasant & helpful, especially with a very late check in.

The hostel is located in a good location where you can easily access the tourist spots in Puerto Galera. The stay feels like home that we extended our stay and don't even want to leave the place. Walter had accommodated us more than anything. He recommended activities and joined us when we are touring around. He is so much fun to be with, you'll get a stomachache from laughing. If given a chance we will come back sooner and stay again here. We'll def miss everyone in the hostel

The view is excellent from the communal balcony area. Sarah, the host / manager was amazing. Very good location and peaceful

Super kind hosts who take you out to the activities in the area. Great hostel to meat other people and good central location to explore the area.

Amazing owner, friendly staff, and really nice terrace with sunset! The place is full with travellers and it's easy to make friends and hang with the people there.

Uncharted Hostel is very hospitable. All the guests I spoke to felt at home. The hosts Sarah and Wolt create an atmosphere that makes socializing easy and fun. They helped plan activities for the guests: island hoping, diving, visiting waterfalls, nightlife, bike rentals, etc. Basically, they sorted out everything I needed. The staff and long term guests are amazing as well! I will definitely be staying here every time I am Puerto Galera.

Sarah and Walter are amazing hosts and besides that just super lovable people. This also attracts great people with which it felt like a family.

Came for 3 nights, stayed for 10. Feels more like home than a Hostel. Everyone at this place is super friendly and helpfull. Kitchen and fridge to use. Nice rooftop where i spent most of the time. Pretty chill and easy going & cheap. Amazing Coffeshop across the street with a breathtaking view!! Make sure to check it out too.

Felt at home immediately. Ms Sarah and Wolt were so welcoming and helpful. I only planned to stay 3 days but ended up staying for 10+. Beautiful views from the balcony and such good vibe with the other guests. Very very happy with my stay
