“Unexpected experience! The most nicest owner I met this time”

First, I was arranged to the other bigger room which is located on the G/F. I could easily came from the beach after snorkelling. And the bathroom is big also so that I could dry my equipments fast. Besides, the air-con is enough cool, and I had nice sleep in quiet place. Moreover, I joined the dinner for 2 nights with the owners and the other travellers. We had wonderful chat and good moments together. I especially love the dogs and cats here. They’re adorable and really welcomed us! The most important things is, I love the owner Macrina very mich! She has a beautiful soul and kind heart. I enjoyed so much talking with her! She’s strong and passionate about her business. It’s my honour to meet her! I love Aninuan beach too! It’s so beautiful! I found turtles during snorkelling. I can’t wait to go back and have a longer holiday there!

I absolutely loved staying here. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they organize “family dinners” every night. The food is just amazing, and it really feels like a family get-together with all stories told and laughs shared. I ended up staying much longer than I’d initially booked. It’s a few minutes walking from a beautiful but quiet beach, and close to a number of diving centers. I’d love to come back!

Macrina and Leigh are wonderful hosts. I stayed with them over Christmas and was made to feel a part of the family. Room was clean, good size with working air con. Ensuite fully supplied with toiletries. Location is a few minutes walk from the beach or 5 mins to White Beach by tricycle. Perfect accomadation and will be back next time I'm in Puerto Galera 😊

Friendly staff

We have been traveling around Southeast Asia for about five months now, visiting 6 or7 countries, and we’ve realized that it’s not the nature, food, or history that stays with you the most, but it’s the people. Our first week in the Philippines, while staying in Manila, wasn’t the best experience. But everything changed once we arrived on Mindoro Island, and especially when we stayed at Macrina’s place. Macrina and Ligh are two of the kindest, most welcoming people we’ve met on our journey. Every morning we had a different breakfast, and it genuinely made us excited to wake up. Almost every night they invited us to join their “family dinner,” completely free, and the vibe felt exactly like that -warm, homely, and full of care. The food was the best we’ve had in the Philippines, and the way they treated us made us feel not just like guests, but like long-time friends. We’re already looking forward to coming back and visiting Macrina and Ligh again. If you want a place with real heart, this is it.

“Beyond Expectations: A Memorable Anniversary Stay”

Our stay was absolutely exceptional! I made a special request and mentioned to the host that it was our wedding anniversary. Was only expecting the complimentary breakfast they mentioned, but to our delight, they went above and beyond and surprised us with a beautiful anniversary room decor! We also received a free upgrade to a much bigger room, which was such a generous gesture. The room was clean, fragrant, and very cozy. The food was delicious and we truly enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts each morning to the hotel's dining area with a mountain view! We also love the unlimited free coffee/water! The owner and staff were all so warm, kind and accommodating. It was a memorable experience, and we'll definitely be back! BIG THANKS again!
