“Very basic but cool people”

:( Not very clean, super Basic, dorm is a bit loud and you cannot close the door, run by volunteers (prefer it when Mexicans get job opportunities instead of travelers) :) Location is amazing, nice terraza, chilled vibes, no air condition so it’s Not as freezing as the other Hostels at night :)

The room had a musty smell, it was noisy throughout the night, and unfortunately, I woke up with bedbug bites.

The location was great and staff were all really friendly and helpful.

The location really is the best part of the hostel; right on the beach and in the middle of a lively nightlife. For being pretty much all open-air, the hostel was clean, including the bathrooms. Lots of the other residents seemed to really enjoy hanging out with each other - I was only there two nights and didn't make friends due to my completely booked itinerary.

The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful, very accommodating. Cool surf shack kind of vibe, don’t expect anything fancy. Great location for surfers also being right on Zicatella. Would recommend if you want to base yourself at Zicatella!

the staff were so lovely, we really were sad to leave this place. nice social areas, really good vibes and it feels like a family, two good well equipped kitchens. gorgeous view of the sea. really cool artwork.

There is an amazing view, you just need to cross the street and you are on the beach. The guys that takes care of the hostel are really present and work well to keep clean the spaces. Nice chill vibes. Lovely birds singing in the morning ❤️

Perfect location for both surf, bars & restaurants.

The rooftop terrace with great view of the sea, the good matrasses and breezy rooms. The fact that there are 2 kitchens, it's a not a boutique fancy place but rather a nice and relaxed oldskool hostel!

The Hostel stuff is very friendly and welcoming. They are always willing to help and down for chat or some nice advices for activity’s and so on. They even from time to time offer to join for some hikes or some small tours they are doing around Puerto Escondido. That creates a Family atmosphere in the hostel so visitors mostly are also chill and inclusive. It’s a very colourful Hostel with lots of self made stuff and art. The rooftop is perfect to flee from the sun during daytime. There are a lot of chill areas were you can connect and even 2 kitchens. Even the Hostel was completely booked no one ever had to wait to start cooking. The hostel is clean and from a fan to nice laundry and towels I had anything I need.
