“Beautiful pool and gardens in the perfect location”

Beautiful grounds and pool facilities. Staff all really lovely and accommodating, we even got a room upgrade to be by the garden! Not super busy and great restaurant in site. Great location at the end of La Punta so wasn’t noisy at all at nights.

Very beautiful hotel, felt authentic. Short distance from the beach. Staff were lovely. Free yoga classes each morning were brilliant, really high quality with knowledgeable instructors. The food was good. The gardens by the pool gave it a very tranquil relaxed vibe.

The Casamar suites was an exceptional hotel located right in the heart of La punta only one block from the ocean. Its a private oasis surrounded by a bustling night life. Everything you could ever want is right at your door step. My family of 17 were divided into 4 unique suites for our 2 week stay. . My immediate family of 7, 2 adults and 5 kids stayed in the Ninos suite which was a perfect fit for us. The cleaning staff were amazing and the suite was cleaned everyday except sunday. The pool was always cool and refreshing and the restaurant at casamar served delicious food at the best prices you can find in the area. Every morning we were spoiled with fresh coffee, free for all guests and served poolside from 6:30am until 11:00 am. You can tell the staff are well cared for by the owner and it shows in the pride that they take in caring for the Casamar property. Everything is clean and immaculate. There were no complaints by any of the 17 of us, young and old, we have all agreed that we would love to go back and stay again.

“Lovely”

Lovely accommodation right between the beach and the main walking street in Puerto Escondido. The morning yoga classes and free coffee were a great bonus. Fully equipped kitchen was perfect to make my own breakfast in the morning!

Absolutely beautiful spot. We stayed in the Eagle's Nest room (junior suite) where the views were magical. Waking up with the sunrise and the birds was amazing, as was swimming in the pool in the mornings, surrounded by dragonflies! There's free yoga, coffee, aqua aerobics and beach umbrellas and towels you can use for free. The people there were really kind and friendly. Location is great - so close to lots of bars and restaurants and the beach, but also very quiet. A real oasis and a super special stay.

Pros: - Clean pool and comfortable chairs for lounging - Two hammocks to relax and soak up sun - Grounds were filled with plants, flowers, and trees that made it feel like a tropical sanctuary - Restaurant and free coffee were tasty and convenient (with option to have room service) - Staff were friendly and helpful - Julio was a friendly (chill) cat that would visit periodically - One block from the main strip in La Punta (and one block from a ScotiaBank ATM) - lots of restaurant options within a short walk - Cozy patio space with chairs and table

Friendly people Felt like we were in Mexico. So close to the beach, restaurants, everything and to experience like a local. Great swimming, yoga and Greet and Meet dinner evening.

“A great choice very near Zicatela beach”

The staff were super helpful and accommodating. The first room had a very slow wifi. They staff upgraded me to a room directly beside and behind the reception, which enjoyed the fast fibre optic connection from reception. So I was able to have quality zoom meetings. The beach is a 2 min walk, and Zicatel is less than 10 mins. Lots of restaurant options nearby. Quite for quality sleeping. They provide a free 20 litre water bottle, and clean the room whenever you like. Comfortable bed.

Casamar far exceeded our expectations - the photos look a little dated but it was actually a beautiful property set in lovely grounds and the rooms were comfortable. We stayed as a family with two small children and it was perfect. Staff were incredible!

“I warmly recommend staying here!”

My father and I enjoyed staying at Hotel Casamar. We rented the two-bedroom apartment. It had everything we needed. The ambience of the place, the owners and the amenities were fantastic. They had free yoga classes every morning. Midday, there was an aqua gym in the pool, and on Tuesdays, they offered free dinner for all the guests staying there. The hotel is located right next to the beach, and there are loads of restaurants, cafes and shops right outside the hotel. It was quiet and a very relaxing place to stay. The owners are very caring about their guests, and that does something with the atmosphere. The garden is beautiful, and the pool is chlorine-free (which I appreciated). It's animal-friendly. The beds were comfortable; the apartment had air-conditioning and, fully equipped kitchen. The water in the shower was warm, and the pressure was good. We would love to stay again in the future; I really recommend staying there.

“DONT THINK - JUST BOOK! Casamar is absolute heaven”

Casamar is absolute heaven. The beautiful garden, birds, pool. Our room was fantastic (12 - Coco’s) - we loved having our private roof terrace and we could hear the waves crashing from our bed. Honestly could not have loved staying at this hotel more!

The location was perfect, slightly out of the main town so it was quieter at night. Yoga in the mornings was lovely.
