I really enjoyed my stay at Casona a lot and can recommend it if you are looking for a laid-back but also social place. I have been staying a lot in hostels in the past decade. Now I am in my 30's and I feel like that a lot of Hostels focus on partying and are not the cleanest. Casona was the perfect place for me to stay, to meet people, to work (wifi was great) and to have a chilled vibe plus it has been super clean. I even came back for one night :)

“Home away from home ✨🌞”
Casona H is a home away from home, such a peaceful and cool experience ! The team is lovely, all common parts are well maintained and this house is just so charming ! Close to everything you need in the Centro, close to market and cool beaches like : Bacocho, Coral and Carrizalillo Attention to surfers : The only spot you can reach out walking is Carrizalillo, the wave is begginer friendly and a bit choppy, can be good on bigger swell, not as crowded as La Punta which is nice. Also the kitchen is very handy to cook your own meals ! Loved my stay, 10/10

“A beautiful place to chill”
The place is super beautiful and has a lot of great shady spots to hang out during the midday heat! The 8-person shared bedroom is also super nice, big and airy. I loved the "outside" showers too. The people were very friendly. The place isn't super close to any beach, but it's a fine base to get around the area.

The beds were amazing. The atmosphere is so relaxed. The owner let us in at night even though we had a very late reservation and we paid the same price for a bigger room.

“Puerto dreams come true”
Love the whole place, from the rooms to the kitchen and the sanitary facilities. A huge plus is that the owners are there for you when ever needed. Awesome hostal for everyone who likes to have it rather tranquil and clean!

Spacious garden and terrace, Yoga mats and free bikes to use, around 30min walk to Bacocho beach/ado bus, friendly staff, the dolphin/whale tour was great, free drinking water and coffee
