Great location very close to airport, bus station and lovely beaches. The host was so lovely and welcoming, and AC was a big plus.

The tranquility of the house, the comfort and space of the room (with fan and air conditioning), the well-kept garden, the possibility to cook, and the Wi-Fi which works very well. Magnolia is an exceptional host, always available, kind, and ready to help with information and advice. The atmosphere is warm and makes you truly feel at home.

We stayed one night before our flight. Perfect location close to bus stops. Can walk to smaller beach or main zicatella beach a little further along still walkable. Great little room and friendly staff, helped us order a taxi to airport

I really enjoyed my stay at Casa Sixta. It's only a short walk from the best beaches in Puerto Escondido, there are some great restaurants nearby (don't miss the El Viejo smoked fish tacos), and the owner is very friendly and helpful. The bed must've been the most comfortable bed in all of Mexico.

The location just 5 min from ADO bus , walkable to all the beaches & nearby excellent restaurants. The owner was very friendly and helpful, use of the shared kitchen. A patio for relaxing . Clean and comfortable room and very quiet at night. I slept very well without any noise . Wifi worked properly. TV with netflix.

Lovely host, kitchen was ideal for long term stay. I was in one of the dorm rooms and had the room to myself for about half the nights. Clean and quiet and homey atmosphere. Would definitely stay again

I stayed longer term while talking Spanish and surfing lessons, it was a very comfortable and homey vibe, I had the dorm to myself for most nights. The host was lovely and kitchen was perfect for my needs.

“Lovely Accomodation and Great Location”

We were stopping in Puerto Escondido for about 24 hours to do a whale/dolphin tour and check out the town before exploring further down the coast. Casa Sixta was in an ideal location, on a quiet residential street super close to the bus station, beaches and centro. The rooms were super clean and recently refurbished, with a very comfy bed, tv, AC, etc. Would recommend to anyone looking for a long or short stay in the town.

What an experience, wonderful place, one of my favorite places. I definitely wanna come back ASAP. I miss the family already. Thank you so much.

Excellent location very close to the ADO bus station and airport. Also walkable to stunning beaches in Puerto Escondido. Hosts were very friendly and welcoming. The room was a good size, shower was warm and had great temperature. Very clean. The blackout blinds and curtains made sleeping in a breeze. There's also a shared kitchen. Highly recommend Casa Sixta.

“A cosy stay in a wondeful little guest house.”

A very comfortable little place, family run with only two rooms, a shady courtyard and use of a kitchen. Casa Sixta provided a perfect place for a night before we caught the bus to Oaxaca. Magnolia and her family were very welcoming and let us store our bags there while we had breakfast. The rooms are very clean, modern and quiet we had a good nights' sleep. Lots of restaurants in the near vicinity and a short walk to several beaches.

Casa Sixta is a very unique hostel in Puerto Escondido. I wanted to be there for a day on my way to manzunte and ended up staying 5 days, as it was such a warm vibe there. Can only recommend. Also, the dorm room is actually two rooms. Each has two beds, which really creates a comfortable vibe.

We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay- Casa Sixta is perfectly located close to local restaurants, beaches, a big supermarket and the ADO bus station. More importantly, the host, Magnolia, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome.
