“Lovely stay!”

Great place to stay in Puerto Escondido! We loved the location, you are close enough to the restaurants and beaches but not in the middle of the noise. The staff is super friendly. Good price values.

“Nice place to stay”

Calm, nice Casa. There is a pool to chill. Wifi is good. The beach is couple minutes walk but to the main one, its arround 15-20 minutes. Staff is also very nice. There is a kitchen and everything you need in it.

None of the WiFis worked. We told the host she tried to fix it but couldnt.

Rooms - 10/10 Great Aircon and Fan, nice balcony, comfortable big bed, clean bathroom Staff - 10/10 Very attentive and kind Location - 9/10 The location was great being within very close proximity to the beach, however, if you plan on walking to La Punta or Ziccatella (which you will definitely end up doing just due to food options being limited in the immediate area), just prepare for a 10-15 minute walk each way. We didnt mind at all because we liked the walk and also appreciated not staying in the more busy and loud areas.

“Amazing stay Zicatela Puerto Escondido”

Amazing place, nice and quiet. Whole place was really clean and the hostess was amazing! Really sweet and responded very quickly over the chat or at the door. Location is very good and just a small walk to la Punta. Would definitely recommend! 🤩

“Clean and quiet place to stay - 20 mins from bars and restaurants”

The host, Gemma, was very communicative which was great. She was able to answer questions before I arrived. I never had the opportunity to meet her but I felt comfortable at Casa Menta. The keycode-locking system was good. The room I had was the one acing the pool. - it meant a little less privacy but the pool was never super busy. It was actually a very clean pool and was perfect for cooling off in the hot days at Puerto Escondido. The AC in the room worked, and I was impressed with the cleanliness. The bathroom was not spacious but it worked just fine and I have zero complaints. In the common room, there is filtered water. The room isn't "social" like it is in a hostel. There is one small table in the shade that some people used for breakfast or hanging out (so again, the hotel doesn't have a social area). From Casa Menta, it is a 20 min walk to the "strip" of Puerto Escondido, so it's not super close, and some people may want to order a taxi but I enjoyed the walk at night. Nearby is the cocktail bar Kara Salada. I highly recommned Casa Menta and would stay there again.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the a/c was also great. The garden and pool area was a really relaxing space. The host was especially welcoming and friendly, we really appreciated all her help with local reccomendations and ordering taxis for us. The area itself is quiet, which was a high priority for us as there are clubs open late in other similar areas. We were not kept up by noise at all (and we are both light sleepers!)

“Cute hotel between the two cool areas of Puerto”

Lovely property between Zicatela and Punta de Zicatela so equal distance to walk between the 2 areas. Good air con (quiet!) and comfortable bed.

The host was very helpful in recommandations and just a perfect host. The pool, the garden, close to the beach, two seperated beds, air con, workout classes

“A comfortable and quiet stay in Puerto Escondido”

Quiet location. Nicely furnished room with balcony. It is a 10 minute walk to La Punta and 20 minute walk to Zicatela, so we were able to enjoy both.
