Despite it stays nearby road you can feel it's calm and relaxing place. I liked the fact rooms are available without steps (straight from garden). I had a bike and was allowed to keep it in the room which was very comfortable. Rooms are spacy, beds comfy. Breakfest modest but good enough. Owner speaks english very well. There are no restaurants around but - and this is for cyclists - there is well equiped petrol station 300m away.

It is a beautiful place, carefully restored and decorated with paintings by the owner who is an artist. As a bonus, she drew two beautiful drawings into our credentials!

Arrived at El Jardin del Conde and was welcomed by Rosa the owner who was very friendly and hospitable. We had a delicious evening meal and a lovely breakfast the next morning before we departed. Our room was comfortable with amazing views. Would recommend to others, a perfect stopover..

Close to the motorway, yet secluded and quiet. On the Ruta via de la Plata. A host, Rosa, that goes the extra mile to make you feel welcome. Including her homemade food. Rooms are simple, yet fresh and clean and with everything you need. Dog friendly too 😁. And motorbike.

Garden view from bedroom, relaxing bath, great location for the Via de la Plata. Host cooked us dinner and gave us an early breakfast. Hand painted individual 'stamps' for our Pilgrim Credencials.

Warm friendly welcome from the owner on a December afternoon. Secure bike storage in a locked room. Owner served us breakfast early on Sunday morning which was much appreciated before a days biking. Lovely homemade cake and preserve for toast. Thank you for a peaceful enjoyable stay. Good value for money.

Love the location of this property. It’s very charming with old world charm and the owners are lovely friendly people. It’s also good to practice my Spanish as they don’t speak much English! Great restaurant a very short dog walk away.

The most amazing location in the heart of Spain. The hotel was beautiful, the location perfect and staff super friendly and helpful. Access to an amazing 'via verde' an old railtrack transformed into an amazing mountain walk between Béjar and Hervas. Beautiful quaint restaurant nearby 'la pequena estacion' an old small railway station. We had anamazing stay with our dog. Highly recommended. A very special place. A taste of the real Spain. I will be back not doubt.

Rustic, rural and original. Pleasingly remote but also close to the motorway for a stop off. They don’t speak English so you’ll have to use your smattering of Spanish. The jamon iberica is excellent and the local beer likewise.

The location was perfect! It's super close to the highway, but the hotel itself is very peaceful and quiet! It's located in the middle of nature. We have a small dog and for her it was perfect. We walked in the forest with her on the morning of our departure.
