Although it is a bit pricey it is a fantastic hostel. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is delicious. You have an amazing view of the waves and can easily see if its pumping. The owner also has a variety of boards to rent from. I had a great time staying at this hostel and in Chicama

“The best accommodation in town.”

Reviewing on behalf of my partner: The best accommodation in town. Felt like a home. Clean, friendly, family owned with free breakfast provided every morning. Most rooms had views of the waves. It was cleaned frequently and reception was open 24/7. There was a laundry on site and staff were available to assist for any surfing questions or requirements. Price was so worth it. It was social, but the private rooms meant you could get some privacy if you felt like it.

The hosts Richard answered Jessica were super welcoming, very helpful, and cooked great food. Fantastic location as well. I'll be be back for sure!

The perfect spot to watch the famous Chicama wave. Honest lodging, decent restaurant. It is the doyen accommodation, among many other places. ... Great place to meet a wide variety of visitors and surfers.

The major advantage of the hostel is the location. Best possible - from the 2nd-floor balcony you have the same view as on surfline camera. The staff is very friendly and speaks English. You can pay with a card (but the provision is 10%) so cash is more economical option. The hostel has very particular architecture - there is a corridor between ocean ocean-view front and rooms- I discovered that the ocean-view room is available and I moved tho that room. The hostel can do laundry for you, they have board rental and you can order food on place (breakfast/dinner type). They also have drinking water in bottles - that's very convenient. Its a surfing hostel - so easy to mingle with surfers.

The location is great. At first I was put in a very small place and it didn't feel comfortable, then I spoke with the manager and he was nice enough to put me in a better room. The whole place is really good if you like to surf. The rooms are nice and there are facilities like kitchen and lounge. They have boards and wet suits for hire. You may want to haggle a bit to get a good price for things. It's actually best not to use booking apps, if you do, don't sweat it too much cause you get a complementary breakfast and it usually it works out similar.

Really helpful owners, on site resturant and shop for water and beers was really convinient and very fairly priced. Great location for surfing, can’t get much closer to the point and had storage for boards and drying wetsuits. Great vibe with other surfers staying there and they had contacts for organising a boat and rental kit. Nice room, very happy with double bed for the price. Shared kitchen upstairs that looked good although I didn’t use it.

The staff are lovely, Ricardo and Jessica are super helpful and really made my stay a lovely one, the location is also fantastic, right by the beach and on a great spot where there are restaurants around

Location is absolutely perfect. Nice view over the beach and this beautiful wave. Good food, juices and coffee also available during the day.

The location is ideal, it’s right in the front of the wave. The view is awesome, the beds are comfy, showers are good and there’s a kitchen if you want to cook
