“Great price for a private, clean room.”
Having my room cleaned while I was out for surf (after they asked when I'd like it cleaned) was so nice! Luis and Tatiana were very hospitable and even lent me tomatoes and cheese for my dinner that I replaced the next day. They were wonderful. The location is a few blocks back from the beach but close to the local markets and in a quiet spot. Great price for a private room. I asked for a fan too and they had it for me within minutes. Very accommodating hosts.

“Hotel that feels like home”
Puerto Malabrigo is full of very kind people but Luis and Tatiana are the kindest of all. Not only did I feel welcome in their hotel, but also in their home. I am still learning Spanish and they both were so patient with me in conversation and helped me learn so much more. Anything you need they will happily help you find, I cannot wait to return!

“Great hostel close to the beach”
The owners are super welcoming and friendly and let us use our room early on the day of arrival and until late on the day of departure. The hostel is close to the beach and market and has a very well equipped and clean kitchen. We’d always come back!

“Great stay! 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
Luis and his family are amazing hosts. They make you feel welcome and comfortable. I just wish I could speak more Spanish so we could have had a good chat. They were interested in my feedback and asked for suggestions. You don’t get that very often. Whole place is well kept and clean. It’s only 5 min away from the beach. 10/10 and I would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay in Chicama, very clean, good WiFi and only 5 min walk to the beach. The owners go above and beyond to help you out. Will cook you anything you want at anytime and even come surfing with you. They treat you like family, I can't recommend enough.
