“Fantastic home from home”

We stayed here for 7 nights and loved it! So lets be clear you are renting a mini apartment (some people's reviews seemed to be surprised by this?!) so dont expect a reception and room service ;) Appartment - exactly as per the description, good size and plenty of space for 2-4 people. Small kickenette with electric hob, kettle, microwave and essential cooking utensils. Good size table to war at and the bedroom is a great size with meshed windows so you can have these open with no nasties flying in. Fully working AC also fitted. Bathroom fully works with an electric shower which is surprisingly good vs all the others we've used in SA. Full drinking water dispenser also provided along with a small fridge/freezer. Patio - this is a private area just for you with seating and views to the water. Perfect for sunsets! Good for drying kit as well. At the time of our visit there was no drying rack like in the picture so hopefully the owners will get another one. Access - on arrival you will be greeted by the owner or in our case a very friendly family member to be given you key and security fob. The fob gets you in and out of the stairwell gate and into your appartment patio. Location - honestly could not have been better! Can't stress enough how well located this is ... 20 seconds to the excursions pier, 2 minutes to the transit pier, 10 seconds to an incredible mini market / takeaway cafe (Minimarket 2000) which we only fully discovered on the last day! All the taxis stop on the corner ... this place is perfect yet somehow managed to be quiet every night for sleeping. Communication - all comms were done on the booking.com platform and WhatsApp. Secure payment taken via the platform too. They checked in half way through the stay and we felt that had there been any issue then they were just a message away. Excellent!! Other points - for $10 they can also provide snorkelling equipment and the WiFi was via Starlink so always working.

Large terrace. Located directly opposite the marina. There are 53 steps leading up to the apartment. But the view of the harbor, which never gets old, makes it worth.!

Keyko and her husband lived closeby and extremely responsive. The apartment was lovely and clean with a lovely shower and big balcony looking out to the sea. 2 minute walk to the ferry. Keyko was so helpful for organising any activities and also her husband gave great recommendations.

The location was awesome, air conditioning was a huge bonus, the kitchenette was handy and Kayko and her husband, our hosts, were amazing giving us information and tips about the island.

The owner is really nice and helpful. Spacious and clean appartment with a wonderful terrace and small kitchen with fridge and a dispenser for drinking water. Very central - walking distance to dock/pier, restaurants, supermarket, bakery and several beaches.

The location is perfect, right in the centre of town. The price is great for what you get. The balcony area is huge and a nice place to relax.

Really nice apartment with huge terrace really close to the dock, so great view over the water and everything is close by. Very friendly and helpful hosts that also rent out snorkeling equipment. We especially loved the comfortable beds and waking up to the sounds of sea lions on the beach nearby.
