It was wonderful. Ximena our host was just the best. We loved the pool and the generous outside loungers and seating areas. It being March and the crazy hot season, the pool water was like bath water! The location was fantastic. Everything was beautifully clean. It was lovely to have our own kitchen, which was generously stocked up before our arrival. There was nothing to fault. We loved our stay here.

City is small, from here we all around went by foot. Owner is so nice and kind. When we came, our fringe was full with products for breakfast. It was so nice. From apartments until port is only 5-7 minutes by foot.

Our host, Ximena, was really friendly and very nice during our stay. She gave us a nice welcome, with lots of fruits and many things in the fridge. The place is really nice and cosy, with a relatively small, almost private, swimming pool, since there are not many guests (I think there are only 4 cottages). We did like the place very much.

My stay at Galapagos Cottages was superb. The room was very comfortable, and the facilities are complete. We stayed for 3 nights, and everything went very well. Ximena's service was fabulous. I had already read good comments about her, and I can confirm that they are all true. Ximena pays attention to every detail, and I would stay there again at any time.

We stayed 4 nights here. Absolutely fantastic place in an optimal location. The house is spotless and cleaned daily. The cleaner will also do your laundry (leave a tip!). There is a big tank of drinking water which is changed whenever you need a new one. This really helps - you don't have to buy water bottles all the time. Ximena (the owner/host) is seriously the best host I've ever had and I've been traveling nonstop for 1.5 years. When we told her we were going to Isabella Island before coming she immediately offered to keep our bags. This was so thoughtful and helpful (because it's a pain to drag bags around Isabella and the ferries). She stocked the fridge with some essentials so we didn't need to go to the supermarket right away. She's just on the spot for everything! Finally the bed was super comfy and great pillows. The water is hot and maintains a steady temperature...we had some issues at other places so this was really welcome.

We loved everything about our stay here. We were cared for like family you love and appreciated how close to the Tortuga beach trail we were and the quiet surroundings. The pool was clean and beautiful at the end of the day. Our apartment was a slice of heaven to relax in, sleep in the comfortable beds, and prepare meals. Everything we needed and more! Our host, Ximane was incredibly kind, helpful and really communicative. Having been in the Galapagos for 3 weeks and traveling for 12 weeks so far, this was the best place of all!
