My room was clean and spacious, and had everything I needed and just off the Camino route. Was super easy to join the route in the morning. The owner was lovely. I don't speak any Spanish but everything worked out fine. I like that I could have dinner right at their restuarant - the food was delicious. No need to go back to town and have to walk up the hill again 🤗 I'd definitely stay again.

“Family-run inn on the Camino Ingles”

This was one of my favorite stays on the Camino Ingles. It was a place that reflected the local culture with the pulpa or gambas for a modest price in the restaurant while watching Spanish TV. After dragging myself up the steep hill leaving Pontedeume, I was rewarded with a beautiful panoramic view of the countryside. The room was modest, with furniture from "Grandma," but that felt like home.

“Up a very long steep hill from the old town… but a flying start if you’re walking the Camino on the next day!”

Rooms were a good size and quiet. Bathroom big. It's just off the Camino but up the Hill making the next day start easier but previous finish harder.

I very nice place well located for those doing the English Camino. The Camino passes very close the Pension.

“Great stay on the Camino Ingles!”

What a nice place on the Camino Ingles! Very clean spacious room, super fast Internet. If you walk on the Camino Ingles like us, this is the best place to stay. You walk the steep climb out of Pontedeume for 1.5 km and the next day you just join the camino and go downhill most of the time. The owner is also the chef so you can have lunch and dinner, great food at excellent price. Highly recommended!

“Great Camiño hotel”

Up the top of the hill in Pontedeume so ideally you need to eat there as well but it’s a great start for the Camino in the morning and the food is plentiful and cheap.

A good one night value for money stop on the Camino Ingles to Santiago. Advantage of the location is that you have already completed the first climb of tomorrow's stage. Excellent bacalau platter for supper in the attached bar.
