Overview
Hotel Jakue is set in the historic village of Puente la Reina, 18 km from Pamplona. This small hotel offers free Wi-Fi, free on-site parking and functional rooms with plasma TVs. The hotel is built in a typical Navarran style, and has countryside views. Rooms at Jakue are bright and modern. They all have air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer. The hotel has a restaurant and a bar with a terrace. Hotel Jakue has good access to the A12 motorway, which connects Logroño and Pamplona. The area around the hotel is ideal for walking and cycling.

Ease of check in right on the Camino. Room clean and tidy. Lovely quiet lounge area outside the room. Dinner and breakfast were amazing, and there were plenty of options for vegetarians. Would highly recommend for Camino travelers wanting a good sleep.

Really lovely hotel, loved the decor. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious and the staff in the restaurant were really nice. Great location for the Camino route.

It was spotless with lots of separate areas to relax in. The feel of the whole property was very relaxing. Even the laundry area was comfortable and clean while waiting for the wash/dry cycles

“Excellent Hotel at the beginning of the town, ideal place to stay when on the Camino!”
Excellent Hotel and great location for the Camino just on the outskirts of the town. We were 3 ladies walking we booked a Superior Room, which had a bath which was a welcome sight after our long day of walking. The Superior room had a double and 2 twins, the twin beds were under the roof eve's and you had to be very careful not to bang your head when you sat up. Beds very comfortable. I was fortunate to get the last massage appointment when we arrived, highly recommend (Nieves Marin Massage Therapist), book at reception or in advance if you can! The pilgrim dinner was good, 2 options for main and buffet for starters and desert. Breakfast was adequate the next morning.

Everytime someone used the bathroom in nearby rooms, you could hear everything. The flushing system must have woken me up multiple times. You could literally hear every single sound. Obviously no soundproofing.
