This 12th-century tower is located in the mediaeval walled town of Puente la Reina, in Navarra. Now a family-run hotel, it offers charming, country-style rooms with a flat-screen TV and private bathroom. The rooms at Hotel El Cerco combine traditional stone walls with modern touches, and some have sloped ceiling beams. The private bathrooms come with a hairdryer. There is a lounge with a TV and fireplace. With good access to the A12 and AP15 Motorways, El Cerco is a 20-minute drive from Pamplona. Logroño is a 55-minute drive away. A bike storage area is available at the property.

“Perfect Camino stay in Puenta La Reina”
Returned to this hotel for nostalgic reasons. Was starting a new stretch of Camino and had stayed here previously when I finished Pyrenees section a few years ago. Was not disappointed

“Cozy little place”

“Great.”
Alphonso was very warm and welcoming and explained everything I needed to know about town, where to find dinner and a laundromat. Great breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice.

Very kind hosts, always ready to explain how to reach certain spots in town (especially laundry wash&dry), very helpful. Room is small but contains everything needed to feel good (I didn't need more because I am passing by, staying only 1 night on my Camino way)

Warm welcome, glass of cold fresh lemonade on arrival. Rules of hotel clearly explained. Advice about local eats explained and when I said I did not want breakfast they advised where I could get coffee early in the morning.

“A lovely and supremely comfortable stay”
A fabulous boutique hotel. Ridiculous it has only 1 star. Would be 3 in the UK. Location is perfect for the Camino as half way down the very long Main Street. Great host, excellent breakfast.
