The bedding was white, which is the raizal funeral colour, so it would have been nice to see a colour used to reflect the very colourful culture.if the posada has been advised to do this then please show them this as people go old providence to experience the culture. Taryn a her family are nice and kind people. I felt happy. A tidy room with a comfortable bed, AC worked good. I was using hamaka there is a beautiful view from their terrace. She offered some beverages (coffee, tea) and drinkable water.

Everything was perfect. The rooms are super comfortable, everything was perfectly clean and the breakfast was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay! In addition, the host is super friendly and there to answer any questions.

“Friendly and welcoming place a little off the main action”

The owner is super nice, helpful and perfectly English-speaking (like most of the locals). The hotel is on the south-eastern corner of the island and you have to use the island Tuk Tuk (via Whatsapp) or rented motobike to get around. The room was spacious and the bathroom facilities sufficient. They have hammocks on the patio and the breakfast is freshly cooked and different every day. You can see the sea and reef from the hotel (so many shades of blue!).

So clean! Air conditioning. Not too far from the city center. Great water pressure. Delicious breakfast.

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Halley View and would have stayed much longer if we could. The beds were a 10er and our host Tarin was a 10+, incredibly friendly and always attentive to whatever our needs were.  We were able to check in early with no extra cost, she helped us book motos and they were there, 10 min after asking for it.  Tarin has worked at the deep blue boutique hotel before the storm and has so much useful information, what's app contacts to hike the island, also from a horse,  restaurant recommendations, cheap boat trips contacts to must see Cayo congrejo.  Take your time and talk to her from the 4 hammocks with the most amazing view and you would get information you won't get anywhere else about carnival in june, crab migration, horse race on beach, live music, whatever is on your list and she knows what a tourist wants, incredible place really. I was there 12 years ago and the island hasn't changed a bit.  Providencia is very unique and a very different world to San Andres, not many places are left this untouched elsewhere and I can't think of a better host than Tarin

The room was very spacious and clean. Taryn was very nice and helpful. The breakfast was very good, she made something different everyday. She let us check in early as we arrived with an early flight and even made us breakfast on the first day. She can help arrange whatever you need, scooter, golf cart, tours and more.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Taryn is such an amazing and helpful host who arranged us great activities. The location was good, room was spacious and clean and hammocks were a big plus for an evening chill. The breakfast was also tasty.

We had an amazing stay at the hostel. You can enjoy the view to the ocean in your cosy hammock. Our host was very warm and welcoming. She helped us a lot and made our stay unforgettable. We highly recommend this accommodation.
