“Good stay”

We booked 2 rooms. One was reasonably clean but the room my friends stayed in was not clean. It was clear that one of the beds had not been changed. The sink in the bathroom was not clean. This was discovered after I had retired for the night and my friends sat on the chairs all night long not knowing how to complain

“Very kind staff but horrible beds”
The front desk staff are very kind and accommodating. The location is very central and a short walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. The hotel provides drinking water which is in the hallway to fill up your water bottle etc. The staff keep the hotel quite clean despite it being an old hotel. I appreciate that the towels are bleached so they smell very clean.

“Central location, quiet, really strong shower”
I discovered one of the BEST pizza I've had anywhere, only 1 block away, OSTERIA ITALIANA on Calle 29. And I've eaten pizza all over the world

A classic old Mexican hotel, everything you need but basic and not quite perfect. AC worked fine. Beds were thick memory foam. Sheets were old but clean. Bathroom was old but clean. Lots of hot water. Staff did their jobs but certainly didn't go out of their way to be friendly. My room was in the back so quiet. I speak Spanish so I don't know if you do not Note: Be sure to eat at Sol y Mar restaurant on the same street heading towards the beach.

Toxic floor cleanser that mage me cough and the smell was atrocious. Screen out in room. Couldn't open window because mosquitoes so bad.
