Overview
Set in the secluded Spartaia Bay, 800m from Procchio, Hotel Désirée offers direct access to a stunning private beach, as well as great sports facilities and hotel services. Use of Désirée’s private beach, where you will find a lifeguard as well as sun loungers and umbrellas is included in the room rate. Enjoy water sports here or go for a swim in the hotel’s large outdoor pool instead. In the hotel’s 7-hectare private park you can also play tennis or work out in the outdoor gym. Children have their own playground at Hotel Désirée, as well as a kid’s club, where they can enjoy a variety of games and activities. Sports lessons can also be organised by the hotel as can trips, boat rides and much more. Hotel Désirée puts on a free shuttle service to nearby Procchio town centre and shuttles can also be organised to La Pila airport, 3km away. Portoferraio harbour is a 15-minute drive from here. You will be spoilt for choice at Hotel Désirée, where you will find 4 different bars, including a pool grill, a terrace overlooking the sea, a beach bar and a juice bar, also located on the beach. There are also 2 restaurants here, serving Tuscan, Italian and international favourites.

Wonderful 25 meter salt water swimming pool which was clean and well maintained. Two great tennis courts and on a lovely sandy beach. Breakfast was good and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

The waiting staff made breakfasts a joy. Room cleaners were friendly and helpful, the whole hotel was full of happy professionals. Breakfast itself was excellent. The private beach and services incredible, nice room with plenty of drawer and wardrobe space. Wonderful location with endless hiking possibilities nearby to complement the obligatory beach days. I can't recommend Hotel Desirée enough.

The location is great, all (swimming pool, beachfront, tennis) within a few steps away from the room. Staff is friendly and well trained, food is good and the hotel has all it take for a secluded rest away from the more busy part of the island. Highly recommend
