Simple accommodation with comfortable bed, big wardrobe storage, nice balcony and excellent location. The hosts go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. There is a choice of tavernas within walking distance, beach is across the road, lovely rural area. Amazing sunsets in this area. Excellent for a peaceful holiday.

Our First Trip to Thassos – and What a Find! It was our very first visit to Thassos, and after much searching, we chose Villa Iris — and it turned out to be the perfect choice! We were impressed by the glowing guest reviews, the high rating, and the option to pay on arrival with no deposit. From the very first day, we knew we had made the right decision. 🌿 Why we loved it here: • a lush, beautifully kept garden, • cozy, spotless rooms, • daily cleaning, • a spacious parking area with spots always available, • the beach just 50 meters away, • tavernas and little shops within an easy stroll. But what truly made our stay unforgettable were the hosts. Stelios and Elena live right on the property and are always there with a smile, ready to help with anything — from small daily needs to sharing local secrets about the island and pointing out the must-see spots. We didn’t just enjoy a wonderful holiday — we made new friends. We will be back for sure! ❤️

We had an amazing stay at Villa Iris! The owners are incredibly warm, kind, and welcoming — they truly make you feel like you are part of their family. We were very impressed by their hospitality and genuine care for their guests. The atmosphere was so friendly and inviting that we can’t wait to come back again next year! Highly recommended!

The value for money was not there - the room was not cheap, and yet the furniture was old, the room was small, and not cleaned well. The bathroom was tiny and there weren't any amenities. There was an abandoned old mattress and some work tools in a corner of our room. We stayed there for just one night at the end of our vacation, and we paid the same amount for a much nicer hotel for the previous nights of our stay.

We thank our hosts Mr. Stelios and his wife Helena for the warmth with which we were welcomed, for the advice on places to visit. Both are very good English speakers. Villa Iris is such a special place! It’s one of those places you want to keep returning to again and again. Actually, it’s not just a place, it’s a whole vibe, it’s an EXPERIENCE. Most of the villa guests I met during my stay there were regular guests, not just random visitors. This itself speaks loud and clear about the high quality of the experience you can enjoy in Villa Iris: it’s a place that makes you feel like home and you want to keep coming back over the years. The energy of Villa Iris is so chilled out, it’s so refreshing for the senses. It’s calm and quiet and cozy. The entire Villa (the rooms, the stairs and hallways), as well the garden itself are always tidy and perfectly sparkling clean. The atmosphere is purely serene. I personally adore the beautiful artworks placed in different spots of the Villa, they made me feel like I am in an art gallery. One of my favorite spots is the marble terrace that leads into the Villa rooms : the terrace is an open air space with such a magnificent Moon view at night. I’m in love with the Villa’s gardens! There are two of them (one in front and one in the back of the Villa), and you can find all sorts of wonderful activities to enjoy there, such as an outdoors barbecue spot, swings to enjoy some relaxation time, plenty of space for yoga activities, and such amazing flowers and trees. Also, the gardens are very kid-friendly: a great place for families with children to immerse in peaceful time together. I love the vibe of Villa Iris gardens so much: there’s a unique sort of ZEN energy flow that makes you feel very relaxed. You can enjoy some fresh air, a nice drink and delightful conversations there. The Villa location is simply brilliant. The magical beach is just 1 minute away from the Villa : you only need to cross the car road and you are at the beach! There are different beach bars to choose from based on your unique taste.

From the moment we arrived, we were very well received by the host, he talked to us to get to know us and served us water, coffee and beer. The hosts were very kind from the first day and throughout our stay. The cleaning was impeccable, it was done every day and the towels and bedding were changed daily. When we had a problem with the air conditioning, the host took measures immediately and fixed it. The courtyard is very generous with parking spaces and tables where you can sit outdoors. The villa is very close to a beautiful beach, with sand, shade and clear and calm water. We highly recommend Villa Iris.

The location is good, the internet is very good, beds are nice and there is always hot water. There is a large internal parking and a garden. There were tables everywhere outside, except in the room, where you most need them. We had to bring our own table.

Our hosts were more than helpful, welcoming and warm. They greeted us like true friends when we arrived, and made sure we didn't miss anything during our stay. We could turn to them for anything from pots and pans, to advice on restaurants, beaches, sites, and even ferry timetables. The rooms were extremely clean, and were kept that way by the staff during our entire stay. Parking is close and convenient, and the place is very peaceful and quiet. Overall, a truly great place to stay and have your peace of mind during your Thassos holiday :)

We are much grateful to Stelios and Elena for their hospitality, so much attention and taking care of us! We've never met such a treatment before! They provided us with everything we needed for comfortable staying. Stelios took us to the ferryboat station and gave us all the necessary information about the schedule of the buses and ferryboats, so that we could leave the island in stormy weather.

The back garden is gigantic, plenty of space for kids to play with the many toys they have there while the adults relax with a cold one. Rooms are clean and tidy, fully equipped, everything you need for a nice stay. Very close to the beach, just across the road there is Calma beach bar which is also great.

Dear Eleni and Stelios, first of all, thank you very much for your hospitality. With the magnificent suggestions of Stelios, our trip to Thassos passed with unforgettable memories. Our room was of sufficient size. It had a fantastic forest view and was ideal for a quiet sleep. It was a blessing that it was very close to the beach. The room cleaning was very sufficient. We have already started planning our next trip.
