Location was close to restaurants Wonderful for a stroll down the Main Road Martina and Marietjie were super hosts, friendly and attentive My husband thoroughly enjoyed the rusks! Will definitely put Meiland Haus on our list for next year’s visit to Prince Albert

MARTINA AND MARIETJIE WERE PERFECT HOST'S. THEY WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO ACCOMMODATE OUR ARRIVAL TIME, SHORTAGE OF THINGS TO EAT DUE TO ARRIVING LATE. THEY EVEN DID DINNER RESERVATIONS. LOVED OUT STAY. PRIVATE, QUIET AND GORGEOUS

“Newly renovated cottage to very high standards. very nice hosts.”
The host was very nice and helpful. The cottage was nicely decorated and felt very warm and homely. Lots of details to made our stay more comfortable such as coffee, tea, biscuits, milk left for our use. Really thoughtful from the host. I would highly recommend it.

“Fabulous stay”
The cottage was beautifully furnished, cosy and had everything one could need. The extras including lemon juice , rusks etc were great too. A delightful garden view from the verandah was awesome. Wonderful hosts. We’ll definitely be back.

This place is a jewel! A secret you want to keep for yourself. One of those rare places where the pictures do not do the place justice. If you appreciate high quality, go ahead, book it. You will not be sorry!

“Ahh, wow (and the owl)”
The best of everything from the Nortake crockery, cutlery and fine glassware to the luxurious bedlinnen and towels. Thank you for the attention to details, such as the fine crystal sherry decanter and glasses; fresh complimentary milk; lemonade and a selection of coffee and tea. The rusks were very tasty. It was a thoroughly relaxing and comfortable stay. We were most surprised to hear the howling old owl in the garden at night. Congratulations Jan and Martina, on beautifully decorated and well run establishment. Please come over and share dinner with us next time we visit.
