“Beautiful stop on the way”
Accommodation by the lake near the highway with a large parking lot. Typical Gasthaus with restaurant. Close to the city center. Clean new equipment.

Offered everything a traveller needs. The room was small but had a desk, room for luggage and a robe, the bathroom was spacious and had great lighting.

“Excellent hotel for a 4 day stay.”
Really liked this hotel. Free and ample car parking space. An excellent restaurant attached to it where we had 4 breakfasts and 2 very good evening meals. There is also a cafe with delicious looking cakes attached. The location is excellent almost on the waterfront just across the road from the ferries. The steam train also chugs into Prien from there. Other restaurants are close by as are walks on the lakeside. The centre of Prien is around 15 minutes walk away with a few restaurants en route but the main attraction is the lake which is in front of the hotel.

“I had stayed elsewhere in Prien in the past, but my new hotel of choice is this one!”
The location is perfect if you want to visit Herenchiemsee Palace - which was the reason I stayed here - so that I could visit the palace the next day. It's just yards away from the pier where you take the boat to the island. While here I ate dinner at the restaurant & was very pleased with the food & service. The room was nice, breakfast was good, and there was parking on site, which made this the prefect choice.

“A good stay in a lovely single room which wasn't the double I had booked and paid for.”
The food in the restaurant was tasty - I had the vegetarian yellow curry, which I would recommend, and the breakfast was good the next morning. The (deluxe?) single room I had was comfortable with a good view - it just wasn't the double room I had booked and been charged for. TIP - if you are travelling by train and need a taxi, book it before you arrive. I had to walk to the hotel in the snow with my case.
