Quietly situated by a small river in the Sigdal region, this property is 10 minutes’ drive from Prestfoss town centre. It offers cottages with cooking facilities and a fireplace. Halvorseth provides kitchen facilities such as an oven, stove and coffee maker. Each has a private bathroom with shower. Some have a sauna, while others are modelled after a traditional Mongolian roundhouse. Free Wi-Fi is available in Halvorseth’s restaurant, along with pizza and Italian dishes. Guests can also enjoy on-site canoe and bicycle rentals, as well as a children’s playground and BBQ facilities. Sigdal Museum is 10 minutes’ drive away and Blåfarveverket Museum is 20 minutes away by car. Common area activities include hiking, fishing and horseback riding.

The place is beautiful and very quiet. We had a well equipped cottage with nice rooms and a beautiful position near the wood. The owners are very nice and kind, it was a shame only to be there for one night.

“Perfect place to stay”
As soon as you enter the house you feel right at home. Behind every door a pleasant surprise. You take off your shoes and look surprised at the complete interior. You're not really short of anything. You want to live here longer. Located in a beautiful forest area, we have found paradise here. We would like to come back again.

“Best place ever”
Absolutely amazing, magic and cozy place, lots of snow. We use this place for Skiing at Norefjell. Staff /owners is always kind and polite, goes always an extra mile to make our stay as comfortable as possible. 10 out of 10 with no doubt. We're coming definitely back. Thank you!
