It is a quaint little town, and the room was inside the historic tower. The vibes were rustic, and the fittings were modern. There was so much thought put into the design of the room.

“Cozy room with comfortable beds”
Oct 2024, check-in was after 1430 using the pin in a message (in German) that was sent on the Booking.com app. Worked flawlessly on the small door on the right with the numberpad lock. Cozy little place in an old iconic building, but not too suffocating. Spacious bathroom, and an overall quiet room with comfortable beds. Location quite central with 2 bus stops in the vicinity. Couple of food options around, but better to not bank on those.

“A lot of Culture but less service”
This is a difficult judged overnight stay. The house or tower, is a fantastic building and is iconic. BUT it's just a room with a bathroom, no staff, no breakfast, no possibility to make a cup of coffee, no chairs in the room for everyone to sit in. No restaurants nearby. The car park is on the surrounding streets. Relatively expensive without any service but with a cultural presence.

Accommodation was in charming medieval tower with tasteful furnishings. The bathroom was modern and sparkingly clean. No breakfast was provided but an excellent cafe was situated just a few minutes walk away

“Perfect”
We had a great stay at Pension Mitteltorturm. The location is very convenient, in the city center. Communication with the owner was flawless and the self check-in process was easy. Our room was very nice and cozy, the interior must have been renovated recently, but they kept the pleasant rustic style. Everything was perfectly clean. Also, the bed was so super comfortable with soft and warm bedding (perfect for stay in winter!). I highly recommend this place!
