Located 4 km away from the Spanish border, Maison Baxter features self-catering apartments and studios with access to a shared garden and BBQ facilities. “Memorable stay at Maison Baxter: charming apart and wonderful English-speaking host in PratsdeMollo.”
Mrs Baxter was a welcoming and generous host who went out of her way to make sure we felt at home in our family apartment. The apartment building is so full of charm and original character features that it feels quite unique and authentic from the moment you enter the foyer. Our apartment was on the first floor, reached by a traditional, ornate staircase and was spotlessly clean and very well-equipped indeed. We had absolutely everything we needed in the kitchen: even a kettle and toaster - often absent from French accommodations- with good quality bed linen and plenty of towels. We had much more space than anticpated and there was an additional clic-clac sofa-bed in the lounge though our girls preferred the bunk bed in the spacious bedroom. There are impressive views from the balcony as per the photos and direct access to a beautiful and peaceful garden with comfy sun loungers. We made good use of the secluded terrace for al fresco dining under the watchful gaze of the neighbour's cat! The apartment is very well-located in the centre of the village, its just a few steps to the main square, the Office du Tourisme and small supermarket yet it provides a haven of peace and tranquility. Prats de Mollo is a picturesque, unspoilt village that has authentic Catalan charm!

Great stay. Fabulous views from the terrace and although in the centre of the village it was a haven of peace. Patricia was very friendly and gave us very good restaurant tips. Highly recommend.

“Brilliant stay in Prats”
Excellent location with superb views and very handy for supermarkets and restaurants. We found some lovely local walks direct from our accommodation. Although it was centrally located we found it very quiet and easy to relax.
