“Quiet country house close to Prato Central Station”

Lovely old villa with plenty of charm. Located in the lush hillside near Prato Central Station. Very quiet and secluded. The owner welcomed us with prosecco on our arrival and gave us great restaurant tips. Very helpful lady.

Fantastic 800 year old house set above the town of Prato. Veronica is a lovely host and easy to talk to. The house is full of history and much of the atmosphere and history is retained in the decoration and in style of furniture. The bed room is huge and the balcony has beautiful views over the town. Entry is via an electric gate and several codes to enter the house. Breakfast is set out the night before and you get up and help yourself. If you drive there is a very narrow road leading up to the house - but easily navigable with care. The guest house is to the left of the one in the corner of a cul-de-sac. Ring her and Veronica will guide you into the property. The whole ambiance of the property gives a relaxed feeling and a sense of living in a very old house.

“Beautiful Villa within walking distance of the main town.”

Villa was a wonderful place to stay and the hosts were fabulous. Veronica recommended a lovely place to eat that was within walking distance and it was easy to come and go as you like. Water was provided in the room and the screens in the room were in very good condition so we were able to sleep with the balcony doors open. The breakfast was simple, but perfect for an early morning start.

A good alternative for a stay in Florence, which is only a 20 minute train ride away. Nice to have a bathtub for a change. Beautiful view of Prato from the balcony.

A place with history, beautiful views and proximity to the train station and in walking distance to the centre of Prato.

Very good value. The environment, the house, the room ... very pleasant, comfortable, quiet. It is quite some way on foot from the train station but that was OK.

“Charming and welcoming”

Amazing place and wonderful owner who welcomed us warmly. We were walking the Camino di San Jacopo and this place was a lovely sanctuary to arrive to after a long day. The whole building is full of charm and has a homely feel. The owner kindly helped us order food for delivery, as we were too tired to walk back to town and had no supplies on us. The view from the property's balcony was lovely, a great introduction to Tuscany for us.

It was a bit like staying in a small castle. I liked the location and the view from the balcony, the antique furniture and deco. The room was spacious and offered a great view to Prato. If you have a car, the location is great. On foot, it will be too far from the station. Traveling to Florence is easy and cheap by train, but I actually enjoyed Prato too as Florence is too busy with tourist. I was glad I stayed away from Florence and have peace in the accommodation to unwind.
