When I booked there was shown Parking for car is avaliable.I always parked near the lungarno paid about 10 euros. And walked 3 times towards my car.I prefer Wall Art hotel (same price) & free parking in the basement.

The building is very old, and the style reflects that, simple and traditional, but the fact that it’s family-run makes it really special. The rooms are basic, but everything is spotlessly clean, and the shower pressure is great. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. I met the brother and sister who currently run it; their grandfather originally owned the hotel during World War II, and it’s stayed in the family ever since. Like I said, the rooms are basic, but very well kept and comfortable.

What's not to like! The owner, his family and staff were exceptional. They were friendly, kind, helpful and knowledgable about the local area and travelling into Florence. The hotel is very close to the train station for easy access into Florence. The breakfast was superb and definately value for money.

“Very clean and comfortable with all i needed.”
From the moment i arrived until the minute i left, evryone was so very friendly and extremely helpful. The little hotel is perfectly located with various restaurants around and the train station is about 200m away. The room, and everything in general, is very clean and the beds very comfortable too. I willl definitely stay here again when i return one day to Florence(Firenze). Thank-you to all at Hotel Giardino, grazie mille.

“A good place to stay.”
The hotel is a short walk from Prato Porta al Serraglio station and right next to the Duomo. It was an old-style hotel and the staff were lovely. One morning, when there was very little fruit, I was asked what I would like, and 2 peaches arrived. You don't get that sort of service often. Prato itself is interesting and there are no crowds. It would be a very convenient place to stay for visiting Florence.

Great location a couple of minutes from the train station. Parked there (€6 for a day) and headed into Florence. Train back after sightseeing and a couple of minutes walk back to the hotel. Great!

The hotel was very well located - close to the train station and the town. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Prato is a lovely town with easy access to Florence.
