Surrounded by fir trees and located in a valley of Tzoumerka Mountain, Agathi is a family-run guesthouse made of stone and wood. It includes a lounge-bar and elegant rooms with energy efficient fireplaces. Featuring a private balcony with mountain views, all rooms have wooden floors and are decorated with fine furnishings. Each comes with anatomic mattresses, LCD TV and a mini bar. Free wired internet access is offered. Buffet breakfast is served daily either at the rooms or at the lounge- bar, where guests can also enjoy an evening drink by the fireplace. Agathi is situated in Melissourgoi village, lying within a 30 minutes’ drive from the mountainous Kalarites village. The city of Ioannina is at 65 km and the city of Arta is at 70 km. Free private parking is available on site.

Hotel Agathi was an experience I will never forget! The breakfast buffet was every morning filled with the most delicious home made products - omelette, pies and cakes. Especially I loved Sophia's bougatsa - cream filled pie - which was best I have ever tasted in Greece. The room was beutifully decorated, the beds were most comfortabe, and the view from the balcony was awesome! Sophia was a lovely hostess, Aliki (the clening lady) was so kind and cheerful to us, and younger ladies working in the evening shifts were also most helpful. Thank you so much!

You will definitely find out what hospitality means at Agathi. Sofia is the perfect host. Before you stay, you will find out all the necessary information to get there, tourist attractions, recommendations for dinner. You will be welcomed with homemade sweets, you can always contact us via WhatsApp to find out or solve everything you need. Carefully prepared breakfast, very rich, and when we returned the next day from the trip, a very tasty apple cake was waiting for us in the room. The view is unparalleled, and the cleanliness is at its best - after only 1 night our room was refreshed, clean towels, airy. We can say that Sofia clearly knows what it means to be a host!

I can't express enough how wonderful my experience was. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the incredibly friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The highlight of my mornings was undoubtedly the breakfast. Every dish was handmade with care and attention to detail, and you could taste the love in every bite. It was such a refreshing change from the typical hotel breakfasts you find elsewhere. Each morning was a new culinary delight, and it quickly became one of my favorite parts of the day. And the view—oh, the view! Whether I was enjoying my breakfast or simply relaxing in my room, I was constantly in awe of the breathtaking scenery. It’s rare to find a place where you can be so perfectly connected to nature while enjoying the comforts of a luxurious stay. Lastly, I must mention the cleanliness of the hotel. Every corner was spotless, and the attention to detail was evident. It was reassuring to know that the place was so well-maintained. Thank you everyone

Sofia made us feel very comfortable. The place was beautiful, really a gem! The room was great and the view from the balcony was exceptional!! All the little details that makes your stay great. The place was managed extremely well! Room cleaning, smart tv, comfortable bed. Above all the breakfast was amazing! Home made dishes, amazing desserts and fresh ingredients. We had wonderful time!!
