“AVOID this place”

Accommodation was cancelled by myself, after trying to contact them several times for check-in. After a few hours I had the information that the place was not available as someone else extended the days. Last minute I was not able to have accommodation after a very tiring journey. Also, I meet another French lady that had exactly the same problem day before. Very disappointed

The hotel was located between Plateau and Quebra Canela, which is nice.

It feels like home. I liked it so much I’m staying for 3 weeks instead of the initial 6 days. Location is good. Facilities in apartment are here. Washing machine, toaster, cutlery, kettle, microwave, fridge freezer, good wifi, comfy sofa, table in kitchen and another in main living space. Balcony, convenient location, good views.

Nothing. It was not what I had booked. The worst place ever.

It was cheap and close to the airport which is what I needed as I was arriving at night, so it was just a quick stop for me before going to a nicer Airbnb further away. I liked that they gave a bottle of water for guests as we don’t always have time to go and buy some before arriving. It’s not that close to any nice beaches or shops, the location is quite industrial.

Good location and Clean room. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

Once you've taken note of the correct description (see below), you will have an wonderful stay at Secularis Capital! The apartment could not be in a better location: in the safe embassy district of the city, and only a few minutes' walk from the lovely Prainha ("little beach") where you can relax, swim, or enjoy an evening meal at the beach restaurant. Directly opposite the apartment is a hotel where Secularis Capital guests can enjoy a discounted price at the excellent buffet breakfast. There is also a taxi rank just outside where you can hail a cab to take you to the minibus station only a few minutes' drive away. From here, you can travel by minibus to anywhere on the island. The apartment is basic, but it is clean and has everything you need. Both the owner, Carlos, and the housekeeper, Ana, are extremely accommodating. They will assist with any queries and provide anything extra you need. Their English is limited, so do remember to pack a phrasebook if you do not speak Portuguese. Carlos even arranged both exchange of currency, and a tour by car of the local area on arrival, at no extra charge. As for the other guests, I found they were very respectful when it came to sharing the kitchen and bathroom. You will get to meet some very interesting people, and everyone shares their travel tips! I doubt you'd find better value for money, and the location is perfect, so I recommend Secularis Capital - especially if this is your first visit to Cape Verde.

Prai is not for tourists. used it as a stop before Tarrafal. the hotel opposite Peatana Tropico saved the stay. had breakfast lunch dinner there and used pool and bar

Clean in very good location

The apartment is very clean, airy and spacious with a lovely view of Farol, the Lighthouse. Very nice amenities as well. Attention to detail A plus. Excellent property that I highly recommend.
