Had a beach view chalet. Comfortable bed .good mosi net.hot showers ,beach views.great sunrises.was awesome. Stayed 10 days.food was great and reasonably priced. Beach was great for swimming. Easy walk along the beach to tofu town.liked being away from the town. Yoga classes were awesome.

“A disappointing stay”

The staff are the highlight of this place. They're a good team and I liked them. Gorgeous views of the Indian Ocean from my room. The food is good quality. Despite the lack of A/C, I found the fan in the room quite effective for staying comfortable at night. The resident dog Chess is lovely and very well-mannered. Also as someone who doesn't generally like kids, I enjoyed my interactions with the owners' son. He is a sweet kid.

Due to diving at 07.00 every morning I only managed to have breakfast once and it was excellent. Having said that the early staff always had my coffee ready with a muffin or slice of banana bread as requested. The menu's on offer were varied and catered to most tastes and my lunch's and dinner were top class. Extensive wine list also.

I really enjoyed my stay at Kumba lodge, the staff was very helpful and always smiling! I will for sure come back ❤️❤️❤️

It’s right at the beach! You have direct access to it and you can enjoy a great view from the common room and the swimming pool. The garden room is comfortable with enough space. They offer good food and delicious fresh juices. The staff is super friendly and always ready to help you. They work together with locals for the activities. They have the best surf teacher! 🏄🏿‍♂️ They offer free yoga classes, which I enjoyed so much! I also booked a massage, it was so nice 💆🏼‍♀️ They even arranged to bring my waterbottle to Vilanculos, because I had forgotten it. So I’m super grateful for that! Would love to come back some day!
