“I have never felt more unwelcome at a hotel than this one - NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL”

Only one towel per guest was provided, which is way too little for a destination that is very hot and close to the seashore and requires to take a shower at least 2 or 3 times per day. Hotel staff never offered more towels, nor to replace the bed sheets every day. Where climate is very hot, it would have been welcome. When I arrived for breakfast a bit before the time of closure (at 09:30), staff was rather discourteous, intently reminding me and my colleague that we had to arrive on time the following day because staff was not working to serve breakfast after 09:30: although there are obviously rules to be respected, I found the comment and the staff's tone rather offensive, as if we were not really welcome as guests in that hotel. The last day, they told us at 11:00 - never having told us earlier upon arriving at the hotel the first day - that the check-out time was at at 12:00. As we were on an excursion and did not get back to the hotel until 2pm, they charged us for the additional hours and, again, the tone was very discourteous and made us feel unwelcome: no flexibility was shown, especially because no guest was checking in on the day we left. Also to note: no one works after 1pm at that hotel: if you have an issue, you have to send someone a message by mobile phone and wait for them to attend you. It happened the first night when the Internet connection stopped working: I had myself to reboot the router and fix the issue myself. Conclusion: avoid this hotel if you want to feel welcome as a true guest at a hotel.
